Today my girlfriend and I decided to try Harvey’s for the first time, and our experience was terrible. We ordered 2 Jr. Burgers. I realized it was taking a very long time for us to get our 2 tiny burgers, so I walked up to the front and asked, “Hey, I’ve been waiting for our Jr. Burgers for 15 minutes now.”
I was talking to a skinny blonde lady, and her attitude was horrible. It honestly got me wondering how they even let a person like this work here. I was expecting a simple, “I’m sorry, let me handle that for you right away.” But instead, this woman started arguing with me, saying I didn’t order anything and basically calling me a liar. I swear this would have gone on if I hadn’t asked for someone else to help.
That’s when the light-skinned lady who had actually taken my order stepped in and said, “Yes, he did order.” Then I said, “Hey, it’s been 20 minutes now, I ordered at 6:39.” But the blonde lady still had so much attitude. Instead of apologizing and fixing the mistake, she started asking the original girl who took my order. "three times" if it had actually been 20 minutes that ive been waiting? The girl eventually said, “I’m not sure,” and left. Still, the blonde lady wasn’t helping, so finally another worker stepped in and said, “I’ll make it.”
By then I just wanted to forget the mess and enjoy my burger, but even that was a disappointment — the burger was cold. I really wanted to go up and ask for a refund, but I decided to let it go and instead write this review.
I’m very dissatisfied, and after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Unbelievable 20 minutes for a tiny burger and the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. I really advise the manager to train this blonde girl, because the way she treated me was unacceptable. Instead of apologizing and fixing the issue, she argued with me and basically called me a liar.
Even another customer an older lady told me it was unbelievable and that I should have gotten my meal for free after...
Read moreExtremely disappointed. My husband and I stopped by this Harvey’s on our way home after church and I wish we would have picked a different location. The person who took our order at the drive thru was fine and easy to understand. She took our order efficiently and also seemed to understand what we wanted and confirmed our selections. When we got up to the window we were handed one drink (with no straw). We had ordered two combos (both should come with drinks). We let the girl know and she was quick to get us our second drink (still no straw). We were then handed the bag with our food in it. We looked inside and there was one container of fries (we had both ordered a large onion ring as part of our combo). We let her know and she was sweet and apologetic and quickly got us our onion rings. We also mentioned we needed straws and she got us those as well. However, we wish we would have done a more thorough job looking through the bag as pretty much everything else was wrong. My husband asked for ketchup, lettuce, garlic mayo and extra onions on his burger (nothing else) and he got tomato, pickle, mustard, mayo and NO onions (pretty much completely wrong😬). I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and asked for just pickles and mayo. What I got was pickles, onions, tomato and no mayo (again, very wrong from what we ordered). To top it off we also ordered an 8pk of donuts which they neglected to include in the bag. By the time we realized all this we were already on the highway back to Cambridge with our infant son sleeping in the backseat so turning back wasn’t really an option. We spent $40 on something we didn’t even want, at least $5 of which we never even got. Not sure who is working on the orders in the back, but they need to either step it up or be fired. This is honestly unacceptable. Not to mention the drinks were also warm (😬) and the Dr Pepper was flat. So odd. Probably our worst experience ever at a fast...
Read moreCame by with my wife to order some dinner and the girl on speaker was impatient as we decided on our order which ended up being $30 for 2 burgers and some onion rings and a shake.
The girl who handed the bag to us through the window was miserable looking without any words spoken. We checked and noticed no napkins so we said “hello” through the window and nobody came to attend and after approx 3 hello’s I pulled up a bit further so i could see where the staff was and the same girl was standing there doing nothing and says to me “ I’M TAKING AN ORDER” !
She heard us but ignored us for what reason ?? I simply was asking for what a normal customer would ask for when staff “ forgot” do do their job. Another girl shortly after came to the window and looked astonished that we did not have any napkins and grabbed some and while handing them to me respectfully the other girl interrupted her and told her not to give us any !! The girl taking orders and handing the food to us should be fired and the girl who handed us the napkins like a normal employee should get made employee of the month. I’ve never in all my years ever seen such a poor attitude in a restaurant, that young lady has no manners or skill in serving a customer and made us feel that we did not belong as a customer. Zero star for her attitude and sour face, she made us feel like her entitlement and poor service skills were our fault. Based on other reviews also it appears that thats the last visit we will make to Queenston Harveys. The immediate exit out of the drivethrough to the sideroad offers no means to enter the parking lot so as to go in and speak to staff so perhaps this makes “Ms Entitled to work poorly” feel she won’t be reported on. My suggestion for her is to not work with the public. July...
