KFC — Restaurant in Hamilton

Went through drive thru in Waterdown, woman took the order, then I watched her go to the back, which can be seen from window. Larger woman, who took order, and who I did not see wash her hands, took the lettuce out of the bin with an ungloved hand, like picking up soil off the ground, and with her bare hand, palmed the salad onto my bun, with no glove, then when I confronted her on her lack of food handling skills and asked her to remake it, and argument ensued, at which point I was told I was no longer going to be served, and was told they are calling the police... I called the woman over and attempted to hand her my business card so both the police and the store owner could call me re. this incident, she refused to come back to the window, so I started a video recording if the incident on my phone, and proceeded to go inside. Once inside, I once again tried handing this woman my card and she refused to take it, and as shes ralking with police, she begins to tell them that im waving my arms around at her in a threatening manner, and that they need to hurry up and get there...I left my card on the counter, waited a few minutes, and then told her to have police contact me, and the owner.. An hour later I get a call from Police, stating they recieved a complaint, that I had verbally and physically threatened the woman, lol, fortunately for me, I had it all on video, and the store had everything on the surveillance cameras, so her report prooved to be nothing but lies, in an attempted to have me charged, which without my video evidence, could have left me with some pretty serious charges. The police agreed that the statement was frivolous and completely fabricated, and told me to just not go back there.. I agreed.

Next day I get a call from corporate office, the woman on the phone told me that they have nothing but issues with that store, and that woman in particular. After watching the in store surveillance video, the corporate woman agreed, that the larger woman at the store had completely lied a out the incident, and needed to speak to her superiors to see if that is grounds for termination. I was offered free meals in exchange for my business I kindly declined, and demanded that the woman who caused this mess, be fired..

Outcome- Never recieved a phone call to find out what action was taken, and have not been back since. Worst service Ive ever experienced anywhere ever. The people who work there ate useless, and so is the management, and as all us normal common sense having people know, it all stems from the top down..... Highly recommend going elsewhere, and if I could give Waterdown KFC less than 1...

Rude and no chicken. Horrible experience. No cars in drive thru. Ordered the $10 for 2 meal deal. DT trainee was interupted on the speaker by a rude male and I was told it would be 15 minutes for chicken (on a Sunday with no cars in DT at 1:45p?). I had to change my order a couple of times to a $13 stacker. I proceeded, already disappointed, to the DT window. I asked if they could charge me the $10 for 2 price for the sandwich because I was getting less product for more cost because they didn't have any for 15+ min. The male cook with shoulder length hair interupted the DT trainee and abruptly informed me he couldn't do that. I was debating whether I should even bother with my order and before I could express my disappointment, he brush me off rudely, with attitude and told me to have a good day as he flailed his hands and walked away. He clearly could care less.

So, we went to A&W DT a few hundred feet away and ordered their Southern Chicken sandwich, which was ready and delicious. We were in and out of their busy DT in no time. As we passed the KFC DT we saw the rude male employee hanging out the DT window bongoing the DT counter and playing the air drums while giving us the evil eye as we passed by. Hardly productive nor representative of the brand.

I feel sorry for the trainee if that male employee is training her, and KFC, if this is what it has come to come too - when A&W has delicious chicken, ready, and you have a rude employee playing air drums and no chicken.

Went through the drive thru this evening. I was the only car there. Placed my order easily. Got to the window and was told that they wouldn’t have any pieces of chicken at KFC! for 20 minutes. They only had 2 pieces available. I said I’d take those. I then waited over 5 minutes for my order. It was handed to me without a word and the window closed. I waited for the server to return with my drink. The window opened and she looked at me with a blank stare. I said my sandwich combo should have a drink. She said you didn’t order a combo. I said I did. I ordered a lg popcorn chicken, a large fries, a chicken sandwich combo and 4 pieces of chicken. She walked away and chatted with another staff member. She said what kind of drink did you ask for. I said I didn’t because no one asked. She said because you didn’t order it and shouldn’t have known that since you weren’t asked. I said I’m the customer and you are the staff I don’t know when you ask which drink I’d like. She again went and spoke to the other staff member. She returned and said she’d charge me $1.90 for the fries and the drink would be free. Without another word she handed me the small fries and drink....
