Inquired about a debit option kindly, which resulted in the owner giving a very defensive and aggressive lecture while being degrading/ profanity directed at us. The environment was incredibly uncomfortable and not welcoming. I have never experienced an owner that directly rude and aggressive or curse profanity at us for such a short and simple question. Unfortunately, this made us leave without placing a large order for an office party. Very disappointed in the actions and lack there of customer service by the owner. The other staff appeared afraid of the owner and just as alarmed. If a customer is simply asking about a debit option in a friendly manner, a snappy lecture and cursing under your breath, is most definitely inappropriate. When a customer already feels like your yelling at a simple question and is even trying to hear you out respectfully, do not mumble profanity to other staff as if we can't hear it. Please, as a critical criticism, work on your aggression as it's highly inappropriate in the work place and truly alarming. Lastly, a customer who has managed a business themselves for 15+ years and also owns a business, its not appropriate to lecture your personal issues and talk down to others like they are incapable of business lingo. Also, just flat out not the time or place. Strangest order attempt I have personally experienced, all because we asked if they take debit? Have been a frequent customer of 6+ years. Best of luck to the owner, as they lost a long time customer and a party order for a nurses and staff at thethospital. This past Monday evening (May 3rd) my partner and I wanted to grab food from here (note we’ve both came here multiple times over the years and are always satisfied with the food and service), so we made sure we had plenty of time, and checked the hours online that stated that they closed at 8:30. We decided to call around 7:30 to place an order for pickup, and there was no answer. We let it ring and go to voicemail. We waited until about 7:45, called again, and note that the voicemail message said that they were open within the window we were going. Called a third time with still no answer, checked Google again, and even brought up their Facebook & Instagram pages to see if anything mentioned being closed. I found nothing, so around 8pm we headed out assuming they were just super busy and open, and as we drove by noticed it was closed, signs were off, looking like it had been closed all day. We were really looking forward to My Buddy’s and have never had any complaints regarding the food. I do understand that during this time hours are all over the place and things are uncertain, but it made me feel that no effort was made to make sure the customer knows for sure when they are actually open when everything points to one thing and is...

Things have changed too much over the years. And not in a positive direction. Very stingy toppings on salad and chicken portions are mini. Honestly nothing is special at all. Watered down tkaziki sauce and frozen tasting, soft fries. Boss lady was socializing with her friends and they were all sitting in the dining room which is NP. But when that came to a close, she abruptly interrupted the kitchen process with the staff that seemed to be doing just fine on their own. She made the order more complicated for them and clearly upset her worker and myself by interfering. Then proceeded to Add tomatoes when I asked twice for no tomatoes (to the first order taker and to herself) To pay $42 for this amount / quality of food is ludicrous considering what you get from IOS for $44. I wish I took pictures so I could show side by side pics of a meal from here vs IOS on UpJames. Anyone writing 5 star reviews and saying “best in the city” is either ignorant or are friends and family, helping to boost the rating. Been going here forever, through all ownership changes etc. it is by far at its worst currently right now. I guarantee you, it is a let down. Go elsewhere because Hamilton is full of better...
