An Average burger restaurant ~ Despite the popular reviews!

Pink Burgers, 1335 Main St W, Hamilton. Date of Visit: Jan.20.2020; 8:13pm. Order: Double burger; Chz fries; Strawberry Shake.

I must say that this restaurant is very conveniently located to McMaster, its a students hub and also near the Hospital. looks great on the outside and inside very simple and staff are friendly. definitely a must try.

On Monday Jan 20th, I visited the Pinks Burgers and ordered a Double burger, Chz fries; and Strawberry Shake.

The Burgers: the Pro's is that the fresh meet produce with 15% fats burger is Clean mix (a clean style burger recipe), the Cons is the burger was dry. It was smashed on the grill, looks like hand made which is good, yet the beef patty didn’t have much flavour and tasted average.

The Fries: I must say that the fires was very average, compare to McD it almost the same both are frozen. The melted Cheese on the fries reminded me of Macaroni and cheese nothing special.

The Strawberry Shake: Was very nice and refreshing not very creamy and still felt light.

Value for money: Good and well priced.

Taste of Food: Average.

Cleanness: its clean and well maintained.

We had this girl serve us at the counter and my gawd she was something special. Thats not a compliment btw. I ordered a black bean burger with everything on it and she didnt understand what i was saying. She asked me to repeat my order 3 times than asked me again "because she wasnt" listening. I than asked to make it a combo and she didnt punch it in. I asked again and her response was "you didnt ask for it". First off just punch it in because i didnt even pay yet. My bf than ordered his burger and he asked for jalapenos on his burger. I will leave this portion till last. Let me get to the drink first. I than asked after we paid. If we could get our drink now or when the food is ready. She looked at me like i was crazy. And said it comes with the food. I than said. Is there anyway we can get it before the burgers so we have our drink ready? She looked at me and asked the next customer for their order. I was like ummm k. We than walked over to our table and she than summoned me to come get the cup from her while she was serving another guest. At this point i was kind of annoyed. Anyways. When we got our burgers. Our orders were right but my bf only got three. Thats right. THREE JALAPENO PEPPER PIECES on his burger. Thats just sad lol. Last night while waiting in line, myself and some friends witnessed a Pink's staff member display very unprofessional and concerning behaviour toward two older (mature looking) ladies. The ladies were asking to speak with a manager. The employee refused to allow them to speak with a manager, SCREAMED at them and called them names. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. The place was FULL of customers while he was doing this. Some customers looked uncomfortable and left. The employee was using intimidating body language and continued to make degrading comments to the lady customers. When one of the ladies said she was calling the police the staff turned up the music in the restaurant so loud that none of the customers could hear the girl behind the cash to place an order. The cashier looked very stressed and was trying to apologize for the loud music and for the employee who was screaming and carrying on. I was really looking forward to trying the food but we were too shocked at what was happening and we left without ordering. Outside the restaurant another group of people asked if we saw what was happening inside. They told us they also left without ordering because they were frightened of the maniac employee.
