As a frequent Subway customer, I can confidently say this is the WORST location to ever visit to grab a bite. I have come to this Subway location many times as an out of town visitor and cannot recall a single time when they have not messed up my order in one way or another. However, I always let it go because I didn’t want to make a big deal. The mistake made today though is simply one I cannot fathom.
I placed an online order through the Subway App for two veggie delight subs. Sub #1 was supposed to have Canadian Cheddar, lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, crispy onions, green peppers with chipotle sauce. Sub #2 was supposed to have mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, crispy onions, cucumbers, and ranch dressing. The key differences to note between the two subs is that Sub #1 was to have spinach and chipotle and Sub #2 was to have tomatoes and ranch dressing (as seen in the first picture of my receipt).
However, when I picked up the subs, and later opened them, they had made Sub #1 twice, putting spinach and chipotle dressing on both. So instead of getting two different subs, I got two subs that were the EXACT same. This can be seen in second and third pictures below as well.
As I was an out of town visitor and had already hit the highway, I was unable to head back to rectify this issue. So, I called the Subway location and told them what had happened and asked for a refund. The worker who answered, Aman, refused me a refund, and asked me to return to remake the sub. I told her I couldn’t since I left and she just kept on repeating herself. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me the manager wasn’t there. So, I requested the manager’s name and number. She hesitated and then reluctantly only provided me with just the manager’s name, no number.
Mind you, this is not the first time they have made a mistake with my order. One time, this same location forgot to add tomatoes to my sub, and another time, they did not cut my sub into 4 pieces as requested. Because these mistakes were so small, I never made a big deal of them. However, this mistake is simply not something that can be brushed under the rug. It is unacceptable and the lack of accountability to rectify this mistake is what makes this situation all the more frustrating.
If you are looking to get a sub, please do NOT visit this subway. A better alternative would be the Subway on King Street in Westdale. Please do not waste your time, money or energy going to this Subway and finding yourself in the same situation as me. Customer service is key in the service industry, and this location has clearly proved that they couldn’t care less about...

My wife and I placed an in-app order for a footlong veggie patty sandwich, which we paid for in advance. When we arrived to pick up our order, we were met with a very unprofessional response. The employees told us they were out of veggie patties and that they had simply "forgotten to update the app." Instead of apologizing for the mistake, they coldly told us to contact customer service for a refund, which would take 3-4 days. This was incredibly frustrating, as we were left with no immediate solution to their error.
After we insisted on a resolution, they offered us a Veggie Delight sandwich, along with a free drink and potato rings or a cookie. We accepted this offer as we were hungry and wanted to move on. However, the experience only got worse from there. The sandwich they made was a complete mess. It was missing the extra cheese we had offered, the bread was so burnt that it was inedible, and the potato rings were barely warm.
When I went to get our promised drink, the dispenser for our preferred choice was not available. I politely asked the employee, whose name was "Yami", if we could have a cookie instead. Her response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She said, "I cannot take back what I have once given," even saying it in Hindi, as if to make a point. She then proceeded to tell me to go ahead and complain, proudly stating her name was Yami. This level of disrespect and lack of customer service was appalling.
I would like to advise the owner of this location that your store is in front of a hospital. Many of your customers are likely under stress and visiting loved ones. Providing this kind of low-grade, tense customer service only adds to their burden. This entire experience was a testament to the lack of professionalism and care from your staff. We will not...

My wife and I just gave birth to our boy here at Mac hospital 48 hours ago and unfortunately he ended up in the NICU and an extended stay, mom and baby are doing well but this sets up the stage for the worst god awful customer service I have ever received in my life...my wife was served with a mouldy gluten free sandwich
Again it had a good amount of green and black mold on the bread
I of course angry called the manager, and he basically made himself feel like the victim in all this, I came in to talk in person between feedings and the service continued to get worse and more disgusting
Of course to be fair yes I was angry but calm because he was saying just complete carless words and had no compassion, he offered me a meager $10 gift card that he himself said was a tease and then raised it to $20 saying that's all he can do...i was taken back to learn at what he thought was a reasonable gesture to resolve this situation, and when I expressed this to him he called me rude and took the gift card back and turned his back to me as he flipped me off and walked behind the counter
I know I'm done with this place forever any location but a WARNING to anyone that they clearly don't care about standards or even could care less about compassion for another human after they sold something that is very dangerous and acted like they were the victim
