Placed an order for delivery for the big PLANT BASED box for my vegan non meat eating friends, and some regular pizzas for the rest of our group. After a bite or two into their plant based nuggets we feared they may have messed up and gave us real chicken, so we called the restaurant to confirm if they gave us the right nuggets and they reassured us it is plant based. So our vegans ate some More and it became very clear these were actually REAL CHICKEN. We even drove to the restaurant with the chicken in hand to show them and they then confirmed they were wrong and lied about it and blamed it on a new employee, they said they wouldn’t give us our money back for the meal becasue they can’t do refunds at their restaurant (sounds ridiculous after our experience) and they told us to call head office which we did and then head office yelled at us on the phone and refused to give us a refund because we had other non vegan pizzas on the bill… while our 15 year ling vegans were forced to eat meat for the first time in years over their gigantic mistake. They only made the experience worse with every step we made to make it better. If you have any dietary restrictions stay far away from this location and or pizza pizza in general as their head office will not assist you if anything goes wrong. Such a...
Read moreI’ve ordered from Pizza Pizza before, and I thought all franchise stores are the same, but from my personal experience at this store-It was much different, I ordered a slice one time from this store (already cooked) on display in their window case. It was really good compared to other Pizza Pizza franchises I’ve tried. On another occasion I ordered a medium size pizza and waited right there for it. Talked to a gentleman there (it wasn’t busy) afternoon time and we talked about the pizza business and why the differences in franchises. He assured me that every franchise uses the same products, but could be different ovens being used and all depends on the management and the workers. I know pizza, and I had this pizza, I ordered a 1 topping pepperoni thin crust pizza. It was absolutely delicious and was hot and fresh. That’s why I personally pickup my pizza, because anything could go wrong on a delivery. When and I’m in the Dundas area, I will stop in here for a slice or fresh hot pie. Don’t know about all the negative reviews on here, because this franchise store knows what...
Read moreFood is normally fine but I cannot recommend ordering delivery from here. I sat at the computer with my phone audio set as high as it can go, and the web page with the order tracking on, and sat until 8:37PM when my phone went off saying I had a voice mail from a minute ago saying the driver had tried to contact me and since I wasn't down there in the 3 minutes they were taking the food and heading back. At this time the order tracker itself still said my order was being prepared and that the driver had not even left the store yet. So I'm basically out the $30 because, according to my phone records, the driver never tried to contact me and the website itself never changed to say my order had left the restaurant until 8:51PM despite the driver having apparently been here 20 minutes ago.
TL;DR: Order pick up, not delivery. Food itself has always been good here but losing $30 because of what might be a phone company issue and Pizza Pizza's order tracker being highly inaccurate is enough to leave a bad taste in...
