I'm disappointed with their service. I had my wedding gown altered from this location. During the final fitting, the outside length was fine, but the inner layers of my gown were not altered in same length while all the layers should be even. Due to this I kept stepping on my gown from the inside. I expressed my concerns, and they cut it while I was waiting standing there wearing the gown. At this point nobody mentioned to me about additional charges for fixing the internal layers of the gown. This came to me only once it was done. I never thought that this will be extra as they had given me a quote initially for all the alterations of my dress. I believe this should have been a part of hemming which was included in the initial quote. They said they altered it but it was not done properly. I was charged extra for work that was already included in the initial estimate. I also had issues with the bustle, as it didn't hold tight enough which was also a turn off for me. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, the seamstress kept putting it off, she was giving me reasons which seemed more like excuses. I felt like they didn't prioritize my needs or did enough to meet my expectations. When I checked the bustle at home, it came off easily, just as I had expected. I've paid more than the original set price, and I'm still not satisfied. The lack of clarity in pricing, charging me extra in the last minute and not directly addressing my concern made me an unsatisfied customer. I am now looking at a different shop to fix my issues costing me a lot more. I expected better experience and service. I really liked their service in the begining but by the end of it, they changed my mind completely. Unfortunately, they have made me feel less important and I cannot recommend this shop.

In response to the reply I got on this review - Once I decided to go with this shop I only took my dress home once it was done. I had to come back 3 times because the work was not completely done the 2nd time I got here to pick up my dress. I went back so that I dont rush them with the work and gave them few morw days to finish the work. I have been going to tho place for 15+ years for formal dress alterations but am thoroughly disappointed with my latest experience. Like other people have mentioned the place reeks- It's a mix of cigarette smoke and air freshener. The quality of the work is not what once was with the old owners. I brought a dress in to be let out in the chest. The first time I went in my dress was not ready. The second time I went in the alteration was complete but did not fit- it was now 4 inches too big. The third time I went in it was again not ready. Finally the fourth time I went in it was done but not well. I however had to take the dress as the event was the next day. I also noticed a spot on my dress that was not there when I brought it in ( dress was in shipping plastic and box up until I brought it to have it altered) they basically blamed me and said there is no way it happened at the shop.
