Would only give zero but that is not an option if I want to post. Any restaurant who has a porch patio is profiting off the backs of the disabled by taking away metered parking spaces our residents need for doctors' appointments, etc. Profiting from the 'porch patio' program which lets restaurant only members of the Local BIA's (Business Improvement Areas) to have take away needed metered parking spaces from residents with disabled parking permits! This program allows restaurant owners to make money off the backs of the disabled! This program was wrongly started by former lying Ward 1 CLLR Aidan Johnson in the Westdale BIA area in 2016 when he allowed the five (5) BIA restaurants there to have porch patios. (Same time CLLR Johnson allowed the new Westdale Theatre owners to change the deadline for the PBAC (participatory Budgeting rules that year). PORCH PATIOS ARE NOT A RESTO COVID RELIEF FOR THEY WERE STARTED BEFORE THE PANDEMIC IN 2016. The Westdale BIA did not care that they took away parking form the Cobbler, bank, grocery store, bookstores. Only their selfish restaurant selves. The Jack Astors in Ancaster covered up their disabled parking spot as have many other restaurants in the local area. There are porch patios on Concession St. on the Mountain which stress people out who need metered parking spaces to go to doctor's appointments. Selfish restaurant owners on King William close the whole street between James St. N. and John. I own my own theatre and event planning company but any time I rent a venue if it dose not meet my needs I will not rent there but I would never park my car in someone' else's driving and expect them to be happy about it. I now one other non-restaurant type store owner on James St. N. who cannot park near their own stores to unload their own store stock who also have disabled parking permits. HOW IS THAT FAIR Jason and Rachel? It hurts to hear the restaurant owners cry poor during Covid when the patios are not a Covid relief and the City disrespects other non-restaurant business owners as noted. I do not give any of my own money to support businesses who make money of the backs of the disabled. There are issues now in Burlington with the porch patios too being an issue there in the downtown core. I have my own businesses as noted. As I said you...

Today I was denied services because I have a disability. And I was with my service dog.

Even if my safety was put at Risk.

I was discriminated against by your staff. I had to leave.

Because your staff (blond cropped hair staff) confuses people without disabilities, who do not have accessibility needs, come first.

This is why AODA EXISTS. This is in violation of the Accessability for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and Ministry for Seniors and Disabilities.

I even problem solved to book in advance so i could sit inside to have a coffee.

Other establishments automatically accomodate, meet my accessability needs. Are pro-active in inclusivity of marginalized people with disabilities to remain active participants in our community.

This is not my first time experiencing this here unfortuntaley. You have expected me to accomodate you and jepordize my health if i want to get services.

The bodies who ensure the safety and protection of people with disabilities were informed, and today's experience has been escalated.

It is unfortunte your establishment remains untrained for AODA customer services and without available feedback on accessability issues as required.

Any response and defense you provide as typical, will not be reviewed nor be in your favour as you continue to minimize the impact of excluding myself and others with disabilities.

Wow this place is so good! I wasn't expecting to be THIS surprised with the quality especially because the price is reasonable. It's midrange pricing but this latte I got is incredible. It's smooth and delicious. I also got a waffle and wow this waffle was so soft and delicious! Also the best waffle I've had i think. Would be coming here from now on when I'm in the mood to treat myself.

I had to come back and update my review. This place is just SO GOOD (I'm realizing I said the same thing in my previous comment)! I just had their waffle sandwich and my gosh. I love it so much. I have had poorer quality with a higher price tag elsewhere, the quality is worth every penny here. Their lattes are still so incredibly smooth. I had to bring a friend out of town here and she agreed! I am moving out of the country soon and I have to say the loss of this place will seriously be felt. The waffle sandwich, so perfect, that cheese was so good. All of it was fabulous. Also, the staff is incredible. Friendly, personable, I love coming in. Thank you for existing
