We watched Shen Yun show here. The show was amazing. The hall was so nice too, although we saw other better ones in historical Europe. But this hall is still nice and you can enjoy any show there. One advice: if you are going to a popular show, make sure to arrive early, maybe 45 to 60 minutes earlier. Only because getting to the parking is so difficult and takes a long time. You don't want to miss your show. And of course you have to be patient when going out of parking. I needed 45 minutes. Can't blame the organizers, it's the large number of attendees. Be careful the announced prices are not accurate. I was charged a flat 15$.

Very nice hall for theater and the symphony. Had a great time with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. I have been been at this hall for children shows such as the Paw Patrol, Toopy and Binoo and The Backyardigans...I also came here to watch a few theater productions such as Kim's Convenience.

Nice medium concert hall, ok acoustic, helpful staff, you can have a refreshment or a glass of wine on the hallway as well on the first level, best view on the centre balcony, underground parking (last time was $20). Good impression everytime I visited!

This is a terrifying theater. Yesterday, my husband and I took our 4-year-old son and made a special trip from Toronto to drive here for more than an hour(beause of the traffice) to see the peppa pig show. Because our children were too young to read the show before. Now he was 4 years old , so we decided to take him to the theater to watch the show. This is the first time we took the children to see the show . and my son liked the peppa pig very much and often said that he wanted to see the real peppa pig. We were very excited and looking forward to this day's arrival. I bought a ticket online in advance. I hope that the child can see the actor, so I want to buy a ticket that is very close to the stage. But when I bought it, Toronto's ticket was gone, so I bought Hamilton's ticket. Everyone $76. I paid for the mail fee but didn’t receive the ticket in advance, so I went to the box office to collect the ticket. At the time, I showed the staff the receipt of my ticket. He didn’t look at the order number carefully. Just asked me last name to give me a ticket and let me sign it. I think this is the proof that I took the ticket and I didn't think much about it. Afterwards, we were seated on the seats according to the ticket. Our seat was very far away from the room. I didn't feel right. I found the ticket only $26. I went downstairs and checked in to the box office. The person who gave me the ticket said he was wrong. Someone had a last name that resembled me. Then changed the ticket to me. This is half past. I was psychologically uncomfortable. This is indeed a very small thing for others. However, it is a very concern to me because I have placed a lot of expectations on this show, so i told the staff who had checked the ticket. She advised me to ask them to refund some of the money. I think it makes sense. Then I went there again and said what I thought. What I didn't think of was their attitude. It was very bad. The staff asked me why I signed it. I was very angry. If I knew it was a wrong ticket, of course I wouldn’t sign it, or why I came here to find you. At this time, another staff member who was sitting in the window was a white man with glasses and some mustaches. It was easy to say that this was only a minor mistake. They would not give me a refund. I think it wouldn’t matter if they did not return money. The key is not even a word of apology. I said that I have been driving here from Toronto for more than an hour. Because of your attitude,This is the first time I come here and this is the last time. This person said that it doesn't matter. if you don't love to come. No one cares. My God, the staff in the theater named 'Firstontario concert Hall' turned out to be this kind of quality... I was very angry and totally unmotivated to watch the performance. We look forward to the long-term show results like this. he name is “BRYAN.” I think the theater has such staff and one day it will drive away all guests.I am really sad and disappointed.I will never come...

A Wiggletastic Experience at FirstOntario Centre! Our family recently had the joy of seeing The Wiggles live at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, and I can truly say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! We were incredibly impressed with how smoothly everything ran, making for a stress-free and fun outing with our children. From the moment we arrived, the organization of the venue was evident. We were particularly pleased with how quickly we were able to get inside. The entry process was efficient, with staff moving families through seamlessly, which is a huge relief when you have excited little ones in tow. Once inside, the positive experience continued. We were able to get our hands on some Wiggles merchandise without having to endure any "crazy lineups," which is a rare and wonderful thing at popular children's events! The concession stands also appeared to be well-staffed and efficient, contributing to the overall ease of navigating the venue. Finding our seats was just as smooth. The signage was clear, there were lots staff around to help, and there was no confusion, allowing us to settle in quickly and get ready for the show. Beyond the organization, we also noted how clean and well-maintained the FirstOntario Centre was. This really added to our comfort and enjoyment of the event. The Wiggles show itself was, of course, incredible – full of energy, music, and joy that captivated our children. But the comfortable and well-managed environment provided by FirstOntario Centre truly enhanced the entire experience. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into ensuring a positive visit for families (they even had booster seats for our littles at the ready) My only recommendation to folks who live outside the city, find parking elsewhere. Downtown has tons of parking no need to congest the underground Parking there. We found Parking quickly across the street at City Hall and were able to cut through the courtyard and cross into the facility with ease. We live in the city though so we knew what to look for where others who don't may not know this.

We left the FirstOntario Centre feeling happy, energized, and very impressed. Thank you for providing such a well-run and enjoyable experience for families attending The Wiggles concert! We look forward to future events at this...

My sister and I went to see Big Wreck! They had 2 opening acts. First was Daniel Greaves. He was very good. He played his set on an electric keyboard, and his sound was good. The second was Texas King. They were lively and fun to watch. Also very good, with good sound. Big Wreck was phenomenal, and I would see them over and over again!! The band Big Wreck has amazing musicians!! Ian Thornley is an amazing guitarist and singer. The drummer blew me away!! And the other guitarist and bass player were so on point. Just amazing musicians overall!! They were so worth seeing in concert. Now First Ontario Place, they employ very polite and knowledgeable staff. Our ticket taker was great, the gentleman that checked our bags was friendly and polite, our usher who helped us find our area was friendly and helpful, and so was our second usher helped us find our seat number. The seats, they were comfortable enough, but they cram, too many in a small space, and you are left feeling like sardines in a can. We were up on the second balcony, so it was a little unnerving, but the acoustics and sound were great, even all the way up there. No complaints about that. I did talk to someone behind us, and they said they bought their tickets 2 days before the concert and got them for a fraction of the cost. There were several empty seats that I saw closer up, so why if I paid triple for tickets 2 months earlier, would they not have moved me closer to the front? Even down a balcony, as I paid quite a bit for each ticket. Just as a thank you for buying when they first opened up to they public. All in all, though, it is a great venue for a concert, play, or show. It is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I used the bathroom at the end of the evening, and it was clean, well stocked, and everything I used was working well. I would go there again for a concert!! The only reason they are getting 4 stars is because of the cramped seating, but I suppose they are only trying to get as many people in there as possible to enjoy the show they are seeing. Just doesn't leave much leg...
