Came here for work. It had great ratings online! Checked in. And was thankfully given an amazing room! Side not - odd numbered rooms gives you the water view :) even numbered rooms are the city view! I had the water view room. The room was normal hotel room size. Neither too large neither too small. The room was okay clean. There was absolutely no extras in the room due to Covid and everything has to be requested. Fairly understandable and the staff was extremely nice providing items requested if available. The hotel has parking underground which was nice. I believe there is a separate charge for this and it is self parking. You get a hotel parking pass that lets you in and out of the garage. Quite convenient. The location is pretty well. It was close to a lot of the main restaurants off of king street. There is a mall attached to the hotel. Mall has a Tim’s which is very convenient on the rainy days. There is a convenience store and tims within 2 min walking distance from the hotel. Which was also convenient on the nicer days. This hotel is walking distance to Hamilton City hall. Art gallery of Hamilton. And reasonable driving distance to other locations. The customer service was nice and staff was friendly. The hotel common areas were clean. Never saw anyone sanitizing anything especially those elevators. But as customers I did my due diligence in the continuous hand washing while come to and fro from my room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the entrance, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff. The cleanliness of the elevators and the pristine condition of the entrance set a positive tone for the entire stay. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by the tasteful furnishings and modern decor. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The well-lit space, plush carpeting, and comfortable bedding created a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The bathroom was another highlight, boasting cleanliness and ample supplies. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining their facilities to the highest standards. Overall, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of welcoming staff, cleanliness, and well-appointed accommodations made for a truly memorable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning in the future.

Our check in was great the front desk girl was very sweet and professional she offered us a later check out time, was very accommodating and informative about amenities and things to do in the area. When we got to our room it was quite dirty and tried calling the front desk a couple times but there was no answer but it was quite late already so we just dealt with it because we were exhausted. We spoke to someone the next morning and got a new room but it was still pretty dirty but cleaner than the last so we just sucked it up since it was the closest to where we needed to go. The hotel it self was nice looking specifically the lobby and it was conveniently connected to a mall and grocery store so you didn’t hav to go too far to get what you needed. Overall I think our stay would’ve been wonderful if the rooms weren’t as off putting as they were but I would hope to one day come back and see that these issues have been fixed.

Room was very clean, we had a deluxe king room and were extremely pleased with how spacious and clean the room and bathroom were. However, we came here for our wedding night and check in was an extreme hassle. As we were checking in the front desk staff was polite until we ran into some issues, and his attitude completely 360’d. We had called ahead to book our room, and spoke directly to a representative, explained that the stay was a gift from our relatives and that we would be using their card to pay for the room. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and polite and said it was no issue, she just had to speak with the relative to double check the card info which we did and she said all was good and we would have no problem checking in. That was not the case, when trying to explain to the staff that we called and was told it was all clear I was told that “The lady doesn't work in that hotel so it means nothing” even though it was the representative for the company that their hotel site has the number on for booking. While trying to figure it out after that the staff was less than nice and told us he would “get his manager because its above him”. While the manager was slightly nicer than him, it was still less than the standard I had hoped for as I have stayed in multiple Sheraton Marriott hotels before using the same relatives card and never had this level of difficulty. The relative gifting us this stay was even on the phone willing to talk and verify the card to him and we were told that he could not check us in unless she came down to the hotel. I should mentioned we had a late check in at 11pm and the relative in question is my 93 year old grandmother who cannot drive. As we were talking to the manager explaining the situation the first staff member was standing next to him making little remarks with quite the attitude to the other guests about how “its gonna take a long time” to sort us out. Eventually it got so ridiculous trying to reason with staff that we had to call family and get someone to handle it as it was our honeymoon night and I was getting extremely overwhelmed by the hostility we received. The hotel was very nice but I will never stay here again thanks to the staff. If you stay here and have any issues checking in I recommend asking for the manager right away and not dealing with Kevin's less than...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (June 16-19, 2025) for a work conference across the street. ||What I did not like: The location. My uber driver told me not to go out at night, then the front desk also mentioned it. I did walk in the area during the day and it seemed okay but I did ot venture outside, even for dinner, in the evening. ||The hotel is attached to Jackson Square. A little bit of an interesting place. Lots of stores, Dollarstore, Asian market, food court, a couple of restaurants, and a liquor store. Perhaps the clients who use the mall are the ones who also frequent outside. Sometimes I did feel a little unsafe there. ||The hotel restaurant was very overpriced and not great. Uber or Skip for dinner, it is cheaper and better. ||Starbucks-it is located in the hotel but also Jackson Square. While it was very good, it closed insanely early. I would have loved to been able to go get something in the evening but it closed at 6pm. ||What I liked: My room was clean and very nice. I had a king room on the 11th floor. Very spacious. Fridge was good, kept everything cold. TV was huge, and you can connect to your Netflix/Prime accounts. The bathroom was huge, water pressure in the shower was great. My only issue was the first night the toilet ran off and on all night. I was in room 1111, I forgot to mention the issue on checkout. The price was great for this room.||The staff at the front desk were amazing and very helpful. I arrived super early on June 16. They offered to take my bag and store it. Then they changed my room from two beds to a king when they found out I was traveling alone. When I checked out (again super early) they took my bag again. When I was ready to go back to the airport, they offered to call me a taxi. ||Overall, good stay. I did have an issue taking my garbage out the second night (food waste) so I wish there were more trash cans around (I went into Jackson Square and put it in there one...

HORRIBLE RESTAURANT SERVICE

I came to meet my business partner and a client yesterday for a meeting. My partner was there a couple minutes before me and I assumed she had already been served so we started our meeting, expecting to be greeted by waitress. Almost an hour passed and we were close to finishing our meeting. Still no one offered us a menu.

While we continued to talk my partner was approached by the manager of the hotel and was told if she does not plan on buying everything she had to leave. It was very unprofessional of her to only approach her when all of us were sitting there. She explained we did not have to leave but she could recommend a few other places we could go. Just a passive aggressive way of trying to kick us out. The most questionable part was why the manager did not even inquire about what was actually happening because you're passively aggressively trying to kick us out in from of hotel guests for not buying any food meanwhile we didn't even receive a menu.

After our conversation with the manager, the waitress proceeded to bring us menus. We asked her why she didn't bring us menus earlier.

*She said she didn't want to interrupt our meeting because we were having a deep or passionate conversation.

Then we asked her why she proceeded to involve the manager without offering us menus our approaching us at all. She studders a few times but nothing really came out of her mouth. An interesting part of the story is that there was another waitress working there as well. This waitress served us last weekend. We had dinner and then another meeting while having good banter with her then tipped her well. I really liked their deep fried cauliflower.

This waitress essentially hid from us the whole time we were there. She wouldn't even look our way. Speaking with us was out of the question.

I really could not deduce the cause of this incident to anything other than the color...
