Room was very clean, we had a deluxe king room and were extremely pleased with how spacious and clean the room and bathroom were. However, we came here for our wedding night and check in was an extreme hassle. As we were checking in the front desk staff was polite until we ran into some issues, and his attitude completely 360’d. We had called ahead to book our room, and spoke directly to a representative, explained that the stay was a gift from our relatives and that we would be using their card to pay for the room. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and polite and said it was no issue, she just had to speak with the relative to double check the card info which we did and she said all was good and we would have no problem checking in. That was not the case, when trying to explain to the staff that we called and was told it was all clear I was told that “The lady doesn't work in that hotel so it means nothing” even though it was the representative for the company that their hotel site has the number on for booking. While trying to figure it out after that the staff was less than nice and told us he would “get his manager because its above him”. While the manager was slightly nicer than him, it was still less than the standard I had hoped for as I have stayed in multiple Sheraton Marriott hotels before using the same relatives card and never had this level of difficulty. The relative gifting us this stay was even on the phone willing to talk and verify the card to him and we were told that he could not check us in unless she came down to the hotel. I should mentioned we had a late check in at 11pm and the relative in question is my 93 year old grandmother who cannot drive. As we were talking to the manager explaining the situation the first staff member was standing next to him making little remarks with quite the attitude to the other guests about how “its gonna take a long time” to sort us out. Eventually it got so ridiculous trying to reason with staff that we had to call family and get someone to handle it as it was our honeymoon night and I was getting extremely overwhelmed by the hostility we received. The hotel was very nice but I will never stay here again thanks to the staff. If you stay here and have any issues checking in I recommend asking for the manager right away and not dealing with Kevin's less than...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (June 16-19, 2025) for a work conference across the street. ||What I did not like: The location. My uber driver told me not to go out at night, then the front desk also mentioned it. I did walk in the area during the day and it seemed okay but I did ot venture outside, even for dinner, in the evening. ||The hotel is attached to Jackson Square. A little bit of an interesting place. Lots of stores, Dollarstore, Asian market, food court, a couple of restaurants, and a liquor store. Perhaps the clients who use the mall are the ones who also frequent outside. Sometimes I did feel a little unsafe there. ||The hotel restaurant was very overpriced and not great. Uber or Skip for dinner, it is cheaper and better. ||Starbucks-it is located in the hotel but also Jackson Square. While it was very good, it closed insanely early. I would have loved to been able to go get something in the evening but it closed at 6pm. ||What I liked: My room was clean and very nice. I had a king room on the 11th floor. Very spacious. Fridge was good, kept everything cold. TV was huge, and you can connect to your Netflix/Prime accounts. The bathroom was huge, water pressure in the shower was great. My only issue was the first night the toilet ran off and on all night. I was in room 1111, I forgot to mention the issue on checkout. The price was great for this room.||The staff at the front desk were amazing and very helpful. I arrived super early on June 16. They offered to take my bag and store it. Then they changed my room from two beds to a king when they found out I was traveling alone. When I checked out (again super early) they took my bag again. When I was ready to go back to the airport, they offered to call me a taxi. ||Overall, good stay. I did have an issue taking my garbage out the second night (food waste) so I wish there were more trash cans around (I went into Jackson Square and put it in there one...

I came to meet my business partner and a client yesterday for a meeting. My partner was there a couple minutes before me and I assumed she had already been served so we started our meeting, expecting to be greeted by waitress. Almost an hour passed and we were close to finishing our meeting. Still no one offered us a menu.
While we continued to talk my partner was approached by the manager of the hotel and was told if she does not plan on buying everything she had to leave. It was very unprofessional of her to only approach her when all of us were sitting there. She explained we did not have to leave but she could recommend a few other places we could go. Just a passive aggressive way of trying to kick us out. The most questionable part was why the manager did not even inquire about what was actually happening because you're passively aggressively trying to kick us out in from of hotel guests for not buying any food meanwhile we didn't even receive a menu.
After our conversation with the manager, the waitress proceeded to bring us menus. We asked her why she didn't bring us menus earlier.
*She said she didn't want to interrupt our meeting because we were having a deep or passionate conversation.
Then we asked her why she proceeded to involve the manager without offering us menus our approaching us at all. She studders a few times but nothing really came out of her mouth. An interesting part of the story is that there was another waitress working there as well. This waitress served us last weekend. We had dinner and then another meeting while having good banter with her then tipped her well. I really liked their deep fried cauliflower.
This waitress essentially hid from us the whole time we were there. She wouldn't even look our way. Speaking with us was out of the question.
I really could not deduce the cause of this incident to anything other than the color...
