Samir Kabab House — Restaurant in Hamilton

03/17/2025 6pm. 0/10 stars. Chose this place randomly over Mcdonalds this evening & never again. The worst of the worst McDonalds is still better in both service & standards. To start of, lady working the cash register was clearly overworked or something. Very miserable, rolling her eyes huffing & puffing while im deciding what to order (keep in mind its been 30seconds at this point and the store is a GHOST TOWN not a single person in site) . I ask if this one dish comes with fries, simple question, response was as if i was a burden… Ok.. I asked if they could make it extra spicy or just include some hot sauce packets on the side for my rice dish, again rolled her eyes and literally no response… Ok… I recieved the most plain rice and kabob dish, less flavour than what ive got in the past. Its like she took offence to the fact that i asked for more spicy. Sorry ur food consistenly lacks flavour? Like what? Okay onto the fries, no salt whatsoever, and super weird off brand ketchup. Continuing, all 3 dipping sauces/salad dressing small containers whatever they were, were so cleverly all put in the bag upside down so all spilled causing a huge mess & waste of time. All in all i feel disrespected, & robbed. I would 100x rather support a massive corporation like McDonalds than whatever this family run place is. Even I would rather...

Each time we’ve ordered here through online delivery, they’ve messed up our orders, had us pay more and gave us something else, Sauces missing etc. Ordered qaboli and lamb rice in the 6 people pack today, they gave us regular rice and we paid more for qaboli. The curry was kofta and they gave 2 pieces of kofta in a medium container and just oil and gravy in a small container. We’ve had the kofta before and we usually had more than just 2 pieces, and this was the deal for 6 people. Honestly ridiculous. Other times they haven’t given salad trays or even the correct curry. They were apologetic before, but there’s no change in service. They could have at least called to say they didn’t have any lamb qaboli and asked if we were okay with regular rice and at least added more kofta. We’ve supported the business and ordered multiple times even though they’ve done this over and over but this was the last time we’ll order. They are also not picking up when we call to respectfully discuss the situation and get a refund for the amount of money we’ve paid for, when it doesn’t equate to the food we received.

Party Size Menu…Wow! If you look look at my review pattern, you will notice that I only write ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews. We eat outside food a lot but there is only a few favourite places that I can count with one hand. In this case, I have grown an extra pinky as Samir Kabob has exceeded our expectations on many level. More specifically, the party size menu is delicious, very reasonable price, and great service. Samir Kabob has saved us many times from last minute guests. Our guests often asked us for their address and contact number once they have come back from the food coma.
