I showed up at the Starbucks drive through at about 9:25 pm. There were two cars ahead of me. Both were served. I got to the order board right at 9:30 pm. I waited a few seconds then made my presence know by saying, “hello”. By the time the person working the drive through responded it was 9:31 pm. She said, “We’re closed, we close at 9:30, sorry.” I replied, “So are you telling me you’re not going to serve me?” No response. There was nobody behind me in the line, it was just me. They could easily have taken my order and it would have added less than a minute to their work day. I could have got my coffee, they could have got my money and everyone would have been happy. As it turned out, the experience really soured me on Starbucks. I ended up leaving and going to Tim Horton’s, and the staff got to go home about thirty seconds sooner than they would have had they taken my order, not a good deal for anyone.
Needless to say this is very poor customer service. If someone enters the drive through when the store is open and the lights are on, they should be served, no questions asked. To refuse service to a customer when they were in the drive through before closing time, and you are in the process of serving the two cars that just order ahead of them, is a sure fire way to lose business, not to mention goodwill. If I were the franchises owner I would be concerned. Staff like this can cost you a lot of money.
I wasn’t too terribly enamoured with Starbucks’ customer service to begin with but this experience has been a good reminder that I can get better service pretty much anywhere else. I don’t expect...
Read moreI have finally had it with this location. For the past 7 years I have always ordered the same thing. As a daily Starbucks customer I know what my drink is supposed to taste like, and when I tell you I've had to change my drink order to contain no ice as I couldn't quite understand why it always tasted watered down at this location you may not be surprised by the fact that even without ice in my beverage, it tastes watered down. Within 5 of my past visits to this location in three weeks my drink has been watered down so much so I can see the difference in colour to what my drink should be. It saddens me to say that even though this location is convenient and close to where I live I will no longer be visiting as I am not going to waste $7 on my favorite drink when 80% of the time its watered down. It should take me three different times to bring it to there attention for them to fix the issue and remake the drink. My last straw was this week when they couldn't even follow direction to put NO ICE. Honestly if I had more time then to write a review I would contact the head office of...
Read moreI have been to this location multiple times. The staff are super friendly and I enjoy the many conversations that I have had with them! Reading the previous reviews is obvious that some people have never had to work retail. Staff would like to go home and get off their feet and home to their families when the store is closed. The previous comment was interesting to say the least... I'm not sure how you would turn the lights off and be able close the store in the dark?? 🙄 For those that have complained about having to wait.... you're at Starbucks!.....the reason you went there was to have a custom made drink! ... and the same goes for all the people in line in front of you ...of course you need to wait! You didn't ask for a simple burnt double double from a coffee pot that has been sitting there for hours! Patience is a virtue, friends. I have brought my friends here and my staff. We have always had a great experience! Sending a high five to the staff at Fifty Road! You are all...
