1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience*
I recently visited this restaurant out of necessity, sick cant cook and short in money, but unfortunately, the experience was subpar. Here's my breakdown:
Atmosphere: The ambiance was lacking, to say the least. The setup was minimal and didn't provide a welcoming atmosphere. Food: I ordered the tiffin, which was advertised as coming with 4-6 chapatis, rice or no rice, 2 curries, salad, achaar, and dessert. However, the food was cold, not even warm, when I opened the packaging. The curries, particularly the one labeled as butter chicken, didn't match the description and tasted old with excessive salt in both dishes. The salad and dessert were a letdown - there was no dessert, and the salad consisted of just two limp onion slices. Service: The staff seemed unengaged, and the transaction was brief and unfriendly. I was surprised by the final price, which jumped from $14.99 to $25. Value: Given the quality and temperature of the food, I felt ripped off, especially considering I paid more than I wanted to. Recommendation: I think restaurants like this should be regularly inspected to ensure food safety and quality. Until then, I would advise customers to be cautious.

Read moreI enrolled for their tiffin service. It was horrific. I belong from Amritsar, and they think there is water and Pond of oil (or milk as the lady said), and Vegetable Oil in Paneer Bhurji. They would send Soy Chaap with 4 pieces of Soy chaap, probably one full piece of chaap with a pool of water. They would 2 pieces of Paneer in their dishes. Mix vegetables had dry and stale veggies including dry and rubbery Cauliflower florets and dried inedible carrot chunks. Their tiffin would come spilled(in photo). Mostly it would arrive late and I wouldn’t be having any breakfast. They said they’ll send Aloo Parantha or something Punjabi on Saturdays, but always sent Besan Parantha. Maybe they like their Margins over quality. A lot of the times, the food was inedible and would taste bad. Chapatis were dry and full of dry flour and too thick to eat. They would literally put a lot of oil in the Carrot and Potato dish which is so easy to cook. The lady on the phone would tell me that she was going to extend my tiffin but then she texted me and told me to send $10 for the extra tiffin she sent. Then they’d reply with lies on the reviews as I have seen with a lot of other people’s reviews.
Its a total waste of money. I have included the photos of...
Read moreI'm currently waiting on my 5th doordash order in the past 2 months from here. Tried it on a whim because I had a craving and now the Shahi paneer is all I want to eat. Great prices, super affordable. LOVE that I can order in the middle of the night, when I get the late-night cravings there's no other place in Hamilton open at night that hits the same. And, even though I live on the other side of Hamilton, delivery times are always either just what I expected or sooner. I feel like the spice level can be inconsistent depending on when you order, but the flavour profile is always delicious and exactly what I'm expecting. Only thing I'd have to say is that it tastes a bit spicier at dinner times than late hours. Do with that what you...
