The experience I had at this Tim Hortons breaks my heart, today April 30th around 7:15 pm I was standing in line when I noticed a situation of what appeared to be verbal abuse behind the counter between coworkers. An employee by the name of Heather was having a difficult time trying to complete a transaction, this is when the shift supervisor at the time Bill was extremely rude and belittling her. He waved his hand in her face and told her to just leave, he continued to disrespect her by making remarks like “i have to deal with this all day”. When Heather asked if he was going to take over, his response was “well if your gonna stand there with your arms crossed and look at me then yeah” He continued to be extremely rude and disrespectful to Heather in front of all the customers. It was extremely clear that Heather was upset & that this wasn’t the first time Bill was verbally abusive, as he was very comfortable belittling and humiliating her in front of all the customers. As someone who uses Tim Hortons services & admires the normally great and friendly staff, this situation put me in disbelief. It would make me very upset if someone like Bill continued to represent Tim Hortons while treating employees this way. As for Heather she did nothing wrong & handled the situation a lot better than I would’ve if I was mistreated the...
Read moreToday I placed an order in person and clearly Conveyed my name when the lady taking my order requested it. A Second Lady was calling out orders that were completed and she yelled out a stereotypical Indian name (this is not my name) and I looked at her confused and she was corrected by a fellow employee who told her what my name was as it was clearly written infront of her. She continued to laugh and say “well I thought someone wrote it wrong and your name was actually this or something like that” I was utterly shocked and she continued to look at me and say “I just made up the name since it sounded about right”
This is blatant racism. I was spoken to like this as a result of my skin colour and ethnic background. It is highly offensive that this took place and that I was spoken to like this. I believe this only place because I was the only non- Caucasian person in the vicinity as the entire staff was white. I was so embarrassed and shocked by the audacity and how proud this lady looked while laughing and saying these things to me. I order Tim Hortons nearly every day and now I will no longer be ordering or supporting this company unless steps are taken to rectify this issue.
What is worse is that this location was in the middle of the hospital. Hospitals are supposed to be inclusive and this was definitely...

Ordered on the kiosk. Waited on the side for about 10 minutes. Asked for an update on my order. “Oh your food is ready. Here. We’re just waiting on your drinks, someone’s making them now”. Okay fine. Waited another few minutes, asked for an update. They asked for my name. Couldn’t find my order. I told them about it again, they said to wait, someone is making it. I ordered a tea and a coffee, they’re the quickest things on my order. Waited some more. Same response. Asked for a manager, they said they didn’t have one. Not surprised. Asked again for my drinks, saw someone go “oh yeah!” And START making them. Food was freezing by the time I got upstairs. I’m not exaggerating, it took 30 minutes between placing my order, and receiving everything. Two sandwiches and two drinks.
Nobody knows what they’re doing. Nobody cares. There’s no urgency. If there’s no manager there, that makes sense. They get away with doing whatever they want at their own pace.
It would have been quicker for me to walk from the hospital to the next nearest Tim’s at John and Jackson. I would have been back, WITH my order, quicker than it...
