Okay, here we go...
First I imagine that there's some stores better than others but in my experience Wendy's is always good. The quality is great, and it's pretty standardized across the board. I eat at a competitors place more often as it is significantly closer. It also really helps to allow me to appreciate Wendy's even more.
Anyway so the only reason why I gave four out of five was not the fault of the quality rather than the often mistakes made with my orders. Of course seeing as I was there and they bungled the order but I do encourage any readers to realise that these specific issues have happened to me on my last trip. The only reason for the score is because I can't make it four point five. The rating being scored on my experiences with this one location over at least five years now? It's hard to remember how long really, I neglected to mark the anniversary of my first visit, but it has been over five years definitely.
These reasons are petty and intended to shed some light on these issues that are similar to this except this issue happens very often and by the time I am back downtown and not going back to get my order as ordered.
Alright, order was for a burger combo with large strawberry lemonade and the fries replaced with chili fries, a single large salad, a large strawberry lemonade. Seeing the limited run of the strawberry frostie we added two large strawberry frosties. So that was my order. What I received after examination at home was not what I had ordered. They were too minor to bother with spending time to launch a complaint and even worse I would hate to cost someone a job.
The first issue was that the frosties were both small. So while it was great tasting myself, we didn't really get much of it to enjoy. It is important to make sure that I mention that this was not an additional charge, I was not charged for large either. I was only denied extra limited time strawberry frostie and I love strawberries and it was very good.
The second error was that I asked to pay for the chili fries with the combo. What I got was a combo, and an order of chili fries, which was charged in the bill. It was a little late for anything to be done, and going back there would be more expensive in gas alone let alone the fact of getting a minor refund and the added difference.
Again I point out that this is a bit of a nitpick over minor errors, and it was five thirty in the afternoon so they were also busy. My issue is not so much the recent errors, it's just a waste of time. I am however giving examples of the trip most recent. The reason that I am upset is that these kinds of things over time and through multiple visits over a period of numerous years now that has resulted in me writing a book when Google asked me if I wanted to leave a review, so I have.
Wendy's, please crack down on the very poor order accuracy. I like to come home to the meal. The food quality has always been great but especially with limited run items. I really think that the locations owner should figure out how over such a period of time I have had terrible order accuracy. I would say one out of four to round down. These are all related to this location only, and it's been happening for far too long.
I love the food but the location is only ever close maybe two or three visits a month. I would just like to have confidence in my order and not feel like an idiot for checking when I get home instead of parking and checking everything. I am quite articulate and easy to understand in conversation. I don't have any accent, lisp, stutter, or anything else that might make the words I speak difficult...
Read moreOn June 28th at 9:45 pm we Drove through the drive thru, and was greeted with a very bad attitude and someone who was very short with us when we were trying to place our order. When we received our order we drove to a spot outside to eat and found that not only were some of our order was missing, but they didn't even put in napkins or plastic cutlery to eat our baked potatoes with. We went inside to get the items that were missing and while waiting at the counter a lady who had just placed her order before me was asking if the Mediterranean salad had any nuts in it, she was told no it does not. The counter person has had no training in safe food practices and food allergies and just how bad they can be, I don't fault her for not knowing though, I fault the training or lack of training she has received. I spoke up and asked her has any of this food come in contact with nuts or could it possibly have come in contact with nuts. She said I don't know and went to get her manager who told the woman that she couldn't guarantee it hasnt come in contact. The customer walked away to go to her table and the employee said well she should travel with an epi pen, which the customer had asked if the girl had her own with her. I told her Epipens are not meant to be used to allow you to eat certain foods, they are to be used in an emergency and most of the time one may not be enough, they are only usually good enough until emergency services gets there. She gave me a complete blank stare. The store may be all nice and new, but they need to work on their customer...
Read moreUncooked food, Horrible Customer Service. Weak minded employees. I went back to have the store remake my food. The woman who met me at the counter was unforgivably rude. She's lucky it's Canada Day and there's nobody to phone in to offer a complaint to. I'm furious. Whoever worked behind the counter when I was served was careless, Ignorant and is highly unequipped to manage even the most basic customer service concerns. Additionally, based on their body language of the employee, have zero faith my food wasn't tainted with or spit in. What a disgrace. I won't even touch it. What A Horrible Location with such malign employees. Purely disastrous how this location operate. I'm immediatly calling Customer Service and Corporate tommorow. All these terrible employees laugh and giggle all they wish But its my promise to deal with this respecfully and amicably. Bad Employees, bad service, bad attitudes. Bad look for Wendy's as a business. It's just so bad. I'm a business owner myself and I am dumfounded by the quality of service. Wendys is not a five star hotel. I don't expect a seven course meal leaving the stores drive through. I just want my fries cooked as they are supposed to and a Burger thats not missing relevant iingredients. I'm phoning in tomorrow ASAP to discuss with who I have to to make a genuine and legitimate complaint....
