Terrible experience tonight. The employee who was acting as the "manager" at KFC HANOVER kicked a child out who was shivering cold, who sat down to warm up as the weather changed drastically within the hour on her walk. Instead of being kind and understanding, and respectfully informing the young girl that there is a policy that no one can sit in the resturant without purchasing anything, she was very aggressive and rude, and demanded the young girl immediately to leave the resturant. When the child told her she was just trying to warm up because she doesn't have a sweater, the employee aggressively stated "Well you won't warm up here , we have ac". When the parent called and asked for the manager, the employee stated she was the manager, and when she was politely asked if she remembered the child that came in, she got defensive and ignorant, stating she has 3 children herself and that the resturant has a policy to kick people out who don't order. With that being said, it wasnt even 30 seconds of sitting that the child was approached and demanded to leave. No compassion was given, no friendly service was given and when asked for an apology for her disrespect to the child and how she made the child feel unwelcome, she got heated and ignorant, raised her voice and down right refused and argued about her being in the right. We said "be that as it may you had 0 rights to disrespect the child" and was given plenty of chances to apologize before further action is taken, after the third attempt to get the apology we realized that there was no reasoning with this woman. There is video evidence of the incident and I will never step foot into Hanover KFC again, unless I see solid proof of action being taken. KFC is supposed to be a family friendly environment where people feel safe and welcome, not a place where cranky unstable people lash out at children. 0/10...
Read moreI was not going to write a bad review, but the more I think about how I was treated the more I'd like to warn people. Today I ordered 3 meals online. We waited the alloted time and went through the drive thru to pick up. We get home and although there are 3 meal boxes, one of the meals has been split into 2 boxes. Silly mistake of misreading the order. So I call in to request the remainder of the food I ordered. The first young lady I spoke with was sweet, but needed to pass my call off to another woman. From the second she got on the phone I could tell she was having a bad day. Before I even managed to get out what my actual problem is, this woman proceeds to speak quite loudly over me, start explaining to me what she thought was in my order... she rants and raves not letting me get a word in edge wise, explaining to me several times i got 2 meals but they put 1 in 2 seperate boxes. I had to yell 'mam!' At her... to which she said 'what!' I said ' I got 3 meals'... I then wait for her to verify, she says she will make up the meals. I tried to ask how long until it would be done... to which she proceeded 'I'm sorry, good bye' in a snide voice and hung up the phone without responding to me. When I arrived she was tossing my chicken in boxes, yelled towards my general direction about splitting this one up into seperate boxes as well, then walked out of site. I have never been treated so poorly by someone in customer service. I could understand her response if I had been yelling, or rude... but I was calm and polite from the moment the call connected. But I hope the woman I had an interaction with today reads this. I hope you're nicer to the next customer, especially if the mistake is your own. No one deserves to be spoken to like that... I hope tomorrow you have a better day and can find more patience with...

The food is adequate.
The service was very poor. We went to the counter to order. Being unsure what we wanted, and having some questions, we thought that would be best. After several minutes, I spoke up and called out to ask if they still provided counter service. My spouse raised his voice and repeated the question when I got no response.
Finally a staff person came over, she had a drive thru headset on. She stated there were only two people working and when I noticed there was actually at least one more and pointed that out, she replied with attitude that she had just returned from break.
The drive thru was quite lined up, another person was ahead of us, and four more were behind. The time was 6:30 p.m. I think they should time breaks not to coincide with dinner.
At her retort to me, one of the persons behind said she should have at least called out that she would be with us on a moment instead of ignoring us. At her sharp answer to that, the group of four people left to go elsewhere.
The woman's attitude did not improve during our ordering process. When the food for the person ahead of us was ready, she pleasantly dealt with him. A moment later she set our bags on the counter and only said, "here's yours".
As a customer, I do not like getting attitude. I don't think it was warranted. Our initial question of whether we could still order at the counter was an honest question.
All because of her poor attitude, we will...
