The chef Drew left the front of house hanging and me disappointed that I didn't get to dine with my husband but after my husband.
My husband asked for a cheeseburger and a side of ceasar salad and I ordered a very well done 7oz steak with sweet potatoes and corn. I re-stated to our server Stacy not just well done but very well done before she left the table and she said yes noted.
When another server dropped off our meals I asked for him to stay as I touched my steak which was as soft as butter. I said it's not well done! He said go ahead cut it. I said it isn't well done let me prove it to you.
I cut it open and it was like I had cut an arterial vein as a blood dripped onto the plate.
It came back well done but smaller in size and over salted. But I was not going to push ly luck I just added more butter. LOL I could not waste a great well done steak.
Afterwards my husband wondered if the chef Drew was trying to send me a message that well done steak is a sin. Unfortunately my sense of smell is hightened and I can't get myself past the fresh smell of blood. And lastly it is my preference and I am paying for what I love. A well done steak with fresh melted butter on top! And that is a perfect meal for this lady!
Now my happy dining experience was cut short because instead of ME DINING WITH MY HUSBAND ... I WAS WATCHED EATING BY MY HUSBAND. And THAT is not why we go out to dinner.
Please note: A meal with my husband is always my joy and that played in your review Chuck's!
Hopefully better luck next time. I will call ahead to make sure Stacy is our server because without her I would have eating takeout from some fast food establishment. Enjoy your envelope Stacy you earned it!
Drew please note: if you ask about the details of my order this whole experience could have been way way different.
But you have 6 months to improve until we come back! Yes for a very well done steak with a side of butter. Let me know if you have ever tried your steak this way!

PS beware that there is not a delineated smoking area even if the sign is up tht states 9 meters away from establishment. Therefore all the smokers come in with the smoke following them. Not appetizing....
Read moreI was so disappointed right from the beginning. Buckets and garbage tossed out the back door was our first red flag we should have gotten back in the vehicle and find another place to dine. However we looked past that as it was at the rear of the building, but coming up and into the front gave no more reassurance that this place was gonna be very clean. Windows were mucky and marked up with a white residue and streaks that are normally seen when not cleaned properly nor very often. (Flag #2) Waitress was nice, and bus boy seemed very polite and well mannered. (He probably could do better than this dive since he seemed to have the most energy in the house with running around doing his duties and still being very pleasant with guests. Well done bus boy!) Drinks came and my glass looked as clear as the mucky windows to the building. (Maybe it’s a theme or something??? no thanks!, yuck flag #3.) Some random guy kept walking around in and out of the kitchen with dreadlocks looking all frumpy, not sure what his role was but dude if you work there maybe you should clean up a little and leave the sweats at home. The Waitress kindly informed us there were no mushrooms for my husband’s dish, it may have made his meal worse as he said it would be his last meal at chucks. My meal was as simple as they come chucks Caesar salad with chicken. I really didn’t have a lot of faith in the place after the observation of the environment around us at the time as I sipped out of my mucky glass waiting to order. The chicken was probably some left over that was lightly seasoned (no flavour) and warmed up in a microwave before placing it in a bed of lettuce. It was tough to eat around and even though the waitress had hollered in passing if I wanted a box, I kindly refused. I left my meal there and like my husband it will be my last. Such a shame to see these small town establishments like this one go down hill over the years, good luck to you and your team in...
Read moreWent there tonight on advice from an acquaintance & had a coupon..! (Buy an entree & get one free).!
Well...pls read on..!
Order 1 is a dble lobster tail $23/ Order 2 is a surf n turf..$25/ Our daughter ordered a burger from the kids menu..$9/.. Also ordered a Martini & a club soda.
Sat dwn for 10mins..& Had to ask twice for napkins & silverware..?
The steak was ordered rare/ I added "as rare as u can make it".! It came Med well.
The martini was horrible..! The club soda was undrinkable. (the carbonation was way to high). It happens..
My daughter actually complained that her burger patties were burnt..! Lol.
All the side dishes like.. baked potatoe & ceaser salad, fries.. etc were decent. *The lobster tails were good.
Now here's the kick in the pants.. Basically 50% of the food & all the drinks were Way below par..
When the bill came (with using the coupon).. They charged us $25 then $23.. & our daughter's $9 burger was Free.?
Wow, I made my intenstions clear to the manager face to face.. That I'm to pay the $25/... The $23 dish is free & then I'd pay for the kids $9 burger..
He said, I will reduce this for you..! I returned to our table.. The manager sent our server back out with a reduced bill of $5/..?
I paid the bill (unwillingly).. Tipped our server & nicely mentioned to both the server & manager that we are new to Ingersoll & eat out as a family at Least twice a week.! And that Chucks roadhouse will Never see another penny of our money.. From start to finish this place failed On All accounts.. Didn't even finish strong..
I will not badmouth this restraute.. But i believe that it won't be around by next year..due to mis management & dirty tactics.
