Bailey's Pub — Restaurant in Kamloops

Edit: This review went from 5 stars all around to what it's at now after tonight's visit. My third visit, and we had a brunette with glasses as our waitress on the side of the bar facing the street. She was incredibly unprofessional. She didn't offer to top our drinks up once, and they sat empty for a good 10 minutes. Eventually, we decided it was time to go, instead of ordering something else and finishing watching the games.

When we looked for her to get our bill, she was nowhere to be found for 5-10 minutes. Another waitress came and asked us if we were done after seeing us looking around, I asked for the bill for the three of us together and a to-go thing to put my last quesadilla in. She walked to the back with my parents two plates and then came back out with food for someone else; our waitress was also carrying food. She forgot about us until I called them over. While they were just chatting with each other.. At that point, I decided the 25% I normally tip I was dropping to zero. When I paid for our dinner, I made sure to let her know the reason I wasn't tipping, and she said, "Okay, whatever." I left, called to ask when a good time to get ahold of a manager was, and could hear her talking about me in the background, loud, and quite rudely. All of this can easily be confirmed by surveillance. We ate there between 5 & 6 PM, and left right around 6.

Also, my quesadilla meal was great, my dad's steak was great, but the fish and chips my mother ordered were incredibly doughy and just not good. That's why the food review dropped to 3 stars.

It was absolutely unacceptable, and the polar opposite of my last two experiences here. The first two times I ate here, we had the same waitress, but unfortunately, she wasn't in tonight.

First review: Great pub food. A different twist on fries you don't usually see in Canada. I've only had their quesadilla meal, but it's been incredible both visits.

Our waitress is amazing. One of the most attentive waitresses I've had since my childhood spent in Ricky's, picking glue off the bottom of the table. 🤣

10/10 would recommend. It seems like a fairly small location from outside, but they have a great seating arrangement, and TVs facing every angle you could think of, if you're there to watch games, or...

Great atmosphere. Not too many good waitresses though. My fish was over cooked at one end and under cooked everywhere else. Raw batter,had to pick out the fish to eat it and the fish itself was below par. The waitress basically ignored our table once she found out none of us were drinking alcohol. We don't always drink,but do enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately that meal wasn't here!!! We had to ask for more to drink ,when asked for a take out container and our bill, they were too busy talking and having fun with each other instead of doing their jobs. We had to ask again amd got attitude. When we informed the waitress we usually tip 25 percent but not today. We got whatever. Literally. When I called to speak to a manager we could hear her bitching about us in the back ground. Absolutely disgusting experience. I will not go back there again. I will go to the rockin furkin pub. The reason why I’m giving the pub 3 stars, is because me and my boyfriend went there twice and we enjoyed it, as so we thought. We go there again around 7pm and we were excited to play trivia but then our waitress comes up to us and says “the other night, you were acting inappropriate and immature.” That’s the short term, anyways we ask how so and they said “I tried to take their taco holder, etc” and that’s wrong because I didn’t know it was in there and when she informed me, I immediately gave it back and apologized. I don’t understand the inappropriate part when we had a guy named Peter, comes up to me and pulls me in and starts kissing my hand but I guess that isn’t inappropriate.
