Commodore Grand Cafe & Lounge — Restaurant in Kamloops

We live near 100 mile, came to Kamloops for my 30th birthday and was assaulted by one of the bouncers just before close over a $12 unpaid tab. I had been paying after ordering all night and tipping generously. However, after hitting my spending limit for the night, my card declined for said unpaid tab and that was enough for the bar tenders to verbally abuse me and the bouncers to leave bruises all over my back. I had taken a video of the incident but the bouncer took my phone and deleted all of my videos and photos from the night. I have PTSD from a past unrelated incident and this very much triggered me. Left feeling worthless and extremely depressed. Police report filed, will be pursuing charges. DO. NOT. GO. HERE....

Worst racist security I have seen in my life.we waited in the queue for more than two hours. when we were next to get in , the security totally neglected me and my friends and allowed only Canadians ‼️ We still waited till almost 30 min before the closing time ,but securities at the door ignored us and had nice hugs and kisses from whom they favoured.

if I could give this place a -1 I would. Waited almost three hours in line just to find out staff were getting friends in by the back door. People who was already in would go outside and bring friends with them; the bouncers wouldn't even ask them for anything. This is not having any respect and consideration to the customers waiting in line, in the cold. This place is 100% unprofessional. Never going...
