This place has either so much potential or was once amazing but is now on a downward spiral. The speed and efficiency of service has to change. It can’t take 30 minutes to make 3 drinks and take a tables order when only 4 tables have customers. It just can’t. You will never have repeat customers The shrimp cocktail appetizer needs more Tortilla Chips. 6-7 shrimp then it’s all cocktail sauce with a handful of chips to eat the rest. We were done the chips and the glass was still full of sauce The meat in the tacos was tough and so overcooked it was not chewable. No salsa or sauce - have it order and pay separate Please taste your food before serving it. It was Like it was reheated. I had no sauce or salsa with my burrito . When I inquired they said I had to choose and it was $2.50 for a tiny paper cup of salsa you use to squirt ketchup into at fast food places If times are that tough add $1.00 to the dishes to cover the costs of the salsa. I’ve never had to order my sauce at a Mexican restaurant Most places have different salsas and hot sauces on the table. The gorditas were good but needed fried more All of the dishes were $20+ Go somewhere else Please owners - regroup, refine your menu If you can’t make drinks fast ya need to cut some out - same with the menu. If it’s too much to handle - keep it to 10 dishes you can do well

Ordered chicken tortillas in mole, salad with chicken, guacamole and chips, side sauces, and churros. PROS: food was very delicious fresh, and flavorful, that is why it is getting 3 stars. The side sauces were incredibly delicious also and had a lot of heat. I would have loved to give more stars, but for reasons below, I haven't. CONS: unfortunately, the description of the salad on the delivery app is wrong, so I did not get what I thought I was ordering and that should be corrected. The chicken was very spicy, which we love, but it would have been too hot for most people. The prices are a bit high for portion sizes (eg. $9 for the guacamole and salsa, $0.75 for each sauce, and almost $20 for the beans, rice and tortillas), but at least the food was very fresh and well prepared. Finally, they use mostly styrofoam packaging. We will definitely go back and try other menu items and try to eat in the restaurant to avoid the styrofoam packaging and see if portions are more generous.

First visit to Kamloops and we found this place on Trip Advisor. Nice location downtownwalking distance to the park. The service was absolutely amazing, very friendly and personable making the outing a very enjoyable experience. Food was very hearty and authentic Mexican, also loved that we got nachos to start. I did get to try the margaritas but they come highly recommended and they looked amazing (from the other tables that I saw with them). Also loved the little patio so we could enjoy the nice weather outside, bonus we had a guy playing some really nice music across the street. I tipped him afterwards since he basically provided entertainment the entire dinner. I would definitely be back here again.

Pretty good, I said I wanted something with lots of cheese and I got chicken wrapped in fried cheese. It was tasty and maybe a little to much cheese. If there is such a thing. I ordered a strawberry Margherita and it came in a nice big glass and it was filled with slushy about an inch over the rim. Since I wasn't drinking it fast enough it was melting and overflowing, the waitress saw that and was quick with a wipe. The only problem was I wasn't drinking it fast enough lol. I am forgetting the names of the dishes we ordered. I hadn't seen my cousin in 50 years so the menu wasn't top of mind. I asked her how her meal was and she said it was good but not what she expected then again she hasn't done mexican much before. We ended up at this restaurant just because we parked in front of it. She said what do you want to have and I looked up and saw Caza Azul and said mexican. The place is nicely laid out, we didn't have to listen to the people at the next table. It was clean and the waitress was friendly and prompt. I would say it was busy for downtown Kamloops on a Sunday just the right number of people to create an atmosphere that was pleasant. I glanced at the menu and did catch some of the prices and thought they were a little high but on par for authentic Mexican fare. I didn't see the bill, I tried to pay but my cousin won, I knew it would be high for a 2 person lunch. It was over $50. Overall, if your looking for good food, nicely portioned and tasty as well as good service, I recommend Caza Azul in...

On our way passing through Kamloops, we decided to try mexican restaurant and Casa Azul came up in our google search with 4.4 rating. My experience doesn't confirm this rating. The quality of food and service for the price was poor. Our Fajita and quesadillas were both bland without any adequate seasoning. As a minimum they don't even leave salt and pepper on the tables for the people to add some taste to the bland food. Tortillas are served in a very cheap plastic container that looked to be made from heavily recycles junk plastic. Even the sides including salsa and guacamole were bland. Nobody without any kitchen experience can make a bland salsa. Tortilla chips came with a dip that was practically a gravy instead of some refreshing mexican salsa or guacamole. Our previous maxican restaurant experience in Langley was fantastic and unfortunately this restaurant doesn't come close. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience. The following could be improved: 1- Please taste the food before serving. Check food provided by other competitors. 2- Use other recipes for sides. Even YouTube recipes provide better results. 3- Replace all the plastic baskets and containers with wood equivalent. It doesn't cost that much and improves the image of serving quality. 4- Adjust the price or improve the overall quality, portion size and...
