the food was okay, but the service was really bad. Me and my boyfriend went there to have dinner and we're both teenagers. The other young servers were nice, but they didnt have good service. We waited for a hour, and there was a open table for about 10 minutes that was ready for us, but they seemed like they didn't really want to put us to the seat. When we were told to sit down, Nicole(black hair, i suppose its the manager), shes the worst. She greeted other people politely and she hasnt smiled or even treat us like customers. When we were ready to order, the other server told us that NICOLE would take our order. When she did, she asked us what we wanted disrespectfully and didn't even ask if there was anything else we would want to order. She flipped her hair as she left our table and didnt even place our order for 10 minutes because she was busy talking to other customers. Once we received our food, none of the servers came to check if we were doing fine. We werent even able to get a water refill for about 15 minutes because they didnt check our table, NOT EVEN ONCE, they were all busy talking to other servers. Our meal total was 75, and my boyfriend gave them 100 and this NICOLE gave us 20 and told us that she gave us 2 10s and 3 5's. When we confronted them that they only gave us 20, nicole was cutting off what my boyfriend was telling her and threw the 10 bucks towards us. The food was great, the servers, especially the manager is no good. this place also needs a table rotation, waiting for a hour with disrespectful serving by the manager is ridiculous. I suppose shes probably racist towards brown skins because she didnt seem like she liked us at all. We didnt get to hear "thank you" which is not even that hard to say. Nicole only greeted and smiled at white customers, probably begging for extra tips. We didn't like the service at all. Me and my boyfriend were just trying to have a good anniversary dinner, but the service...
Read moreAn extremely sub-par experience. Felt like the definition of a family owned business that goes to a consulting firm who recommends they sacrifice their soul for profit.
To start off, they took a restaurant that should have maybe 10-12 tables at the most, and packed in closer to 20. "Gotta maximize the square footage" Sat what felt like shoulder to shoulder with the other patrons.
The second you walk in the door, it just seems you get assaulted with the chaos of the place. Servers running around through closely packed customers. Yelling from the kitchen that has no walls between it and the restaurant. Not to mention every single 'chef' was a ~16-18yr old kid. Nothing against that, but it doesn't inspire a wisdom of cuisine for a supposedly classy Italian restaurant.
I think our waitress was one of the owners tbh (no offense to you if you're reading this) but seemed like you were having a bad day. I tried asking a few questions and got nothing but snippy responses.
I got the "Spinach dip" which was quite literally garlic soup with some half boiled Spinach leaves. Like full leaves just kinda chillin in the soup. Was pretty good tho, and the garlic bread they served with it was dope, but it wasn't a Spinach dip lol. I also got the Mac & Cheese and it was also pretty good, but nothing special. Somewhat dry but nice and hot. My buddy on the other hand got the tomato seafood pasta something or other and oh God it was foul. Tasted like bad canned garlic tomato soup with really fishy tasting seafood. Like genuinely terrible.
A pasta and appetizer ran me like $50 too, which is insane for what you get.
Overall just very overrated place in my opinion considering how many people seem to...
Read moreOne of my worst dining experiences ever. Took 10 minutes after I walked into the restaurant for me to even be addressed in anyway. Finally was told it was about a 20 minute wait which I would not be allowed to wait in my car for. I've been to many sit down restaurants that don't take reservations unless you walk in but never one that makes you wait in line either in a crowded seating area (during covid no less) or outside in the cold. I decide to wait because reviews of their pasta are so good at this point I realize my phone is dying and ask if there's somewhere I can charge it, again no, and no I can't charge my phone in my vehicle either (I am here for dinner alone and would like to answer work messages I've left unattended throughout a busy day as well as have a phone to walk back to my car with after dark). The couple infront of me assures that the pasta is worth the so far bad service and the wait. It was not. I ordered the charcuterie board, which was a solid meh, definitely the worst one I've ever had, though I'm used to good restaurants. I also ordered the shrimp Alfredo, which came loaded with shrimp, perhaps to try to hide the watery flavorless sauce. Straight up, it was as thick as maybe 3.5% milk. The pasta itself was maybe a 6/10. Not sure if the hostess hated me for being baffled with the low quality of service that I was given bad food or if this is their standard. Regardless that was awful and I regret coming here. I always tip 20%, this is the first time I've left no tip since I was very young...
