I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience at Godfatherâs, I felt it was necessary to share. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the manager, Carissa, was honestly shocking.
During my visit, I witnessed Carissa treating one of her employees with open disrespect, raising her voice and making snide remarks in front of customers. What made it even more uncomfortable was the way she looked at me mid-incident, as if expecting me to side with her or validate her behavior. It was clear she was trying to shift blame onto her employee, which I found both disgusting and incredibly unprofessional.
Her attitude made it very obvious that she does not take her role seriously. This wasnât just a one-off moment of stress, it was a pattern. She was equally rude to other customers and came off cold and dismissive the entire time I was there. There was no effort to create a welcoming environment. Instead, the energy she brought into that space made everyone feel on edge.
A manager sets the tone for a workplace, and in this case, the tone is toxic. Godfatherâs has potential, but with someone like Carissa at the helm, I canât recommend it. No customer or employee deserves to be treated like that.

   Read moreI recently visited Godfatherâs Pizza and was incredibly disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and organization from the staff. From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting, no acknowledgment just awkward silence. It felt more like walking into someoneâs garage than a functioning restaurant. Customers are left sitting there not knowing whatâs going on, and you canât even pay until your food is done. No direction, no communication, nothing.
The staff clearly arenât properly trained. The new employee was left alone to handle pizzas by herself, visibly confused and unsure of what to do, while another staff member was in the bathroom for over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, no one was assisting her or the customers.
To make things worse, the pizza slices in the heater looked old, dry, and downright gross. I have photo proof showing how unappetizing and stale they looked â it was honestly shocking that they would still offer that to customers.

Me and my family have been coming here for awhile now and we have all noticed an amazing change in not only the food itself but the service and physical state of the restaurant. The dough is wonderful, not to hard but not soggy, the sauce is always perfectly balanced along the entire pizza, toppings are perfect, not too much where its hard to handle but just the right amount where you get all the flavours.
