That Place On Cameron — Restaurant in Kawartha Lakes

Only dine here if you are REALLY hungry!

This place got recommended by our B&B hosts as a unique and tasteful place to go., so we went early in the afternoon to check it out and reserve for dinner (recommended as well). There was some difficulty finding them the first time as you seem to drive through a dirt road access of various local industries before coming upon their location. But it is worth it. They have a gorgeous view of Cameron Lake (hence the name), and a super patio to take in the view. It was quite hot that day, but the host reserve BOTH and inside and outside table because of the changeable weather.

We arrive back at dinner time and decided it was way too hot for us on the patio so inside we stayed.

The menu was short and sweet, offering a good variety of popular meals enjoyed by all. Seems they did there research as none of us could find any notable omissions. We all tried something different and sat back with our drinks to take in the view (still nice even from the inside). Our waitress was cheerful and attentive so time went by quickly.

The surprise came when he food arrived. Not only was it generous by anyone's standard, it was so fresh and hot that we actually had to wail a moment for it to cool down. It has been a long time since any restaurant has served me food that FRESH. To top it off...it was all SO GOOD. Four entirely different meals and the only complaint was it was TOO much. Like I said...you better be hungry to eat here.

One other little anomaly...they offer no desserts of any kind. Fortunately, Fenlon Falls is chock full of bakeries and ice cream shops. Still, well worth...

Cant beat a waterfront view at any restaurant! This is a hidden gem off the beaten bath in small town Fenelon Falls.

They have lots of seating inside and out. If you are there for dinner you get a lovely sunset view over Cameron Lake. They have wonderful umbrellas and awning to give you lots of shade while dining outside.

There are plenty of options for food from hot sandwhiches to fish and chips as well as burgers and pasta. Everyone will find something to eat here. They also have good margaritas!

The service is fantastic! They are always friendly and check up on you to make aure everything is going well.

This is a must visit place while visiting Fenelon Falls! Nothing beats good food, good service with amazing...

Recently went to this restuarant and we will never go back. The service was awful the sour cream we were given with our nachos had mold in it! When it was pointed out she didn't even say anything no sorry nothing just looked annoyed and we actually had to state we would like another one. Brought us another one and it was fine. On to the main meal, the toast was burnt, the gravey was like water, and there was hair in the salad! when a staff member was told this he said I'm just the cook speak to the server... really? server never even asked if our meal was ok or anything.
