Authentic and delicious Indian food with friendly, accommodating service in a casual atmosphere. This is a gem of a restaurant, and I had the distinct pleasure of enjoying a comforting, flavor-packed meal after leaving another local restaurant hungry and disappointed. The staff was so kind and accommodating to my party of 2 with two dogs on their dog-friendly patio, they stayed open a bit later so I could order and eat. We enjoyed the spicy lamb and chicken vindaloo and some eggplant pakoras. The pakoras were perfectly seasoned and fried, they were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, packed full of delicious warm flavors. I would've loved to try their other pakoras, I will be back again to try. The curry packed quite the kick (but you can ask for milder versions), and had lots of tender morsels of juicy meat. Served with warm fluffy rice, it was mouth watering and really hit the spot. Their house-made sweetened iced chai drink helped cool things down and was especially refreshing to enjoy on their patio on a summer evening. Highly recommended spot for a comforting and delicious meal. Enjoy their patio while you can. Edit: I have since returned for a lunch and was once again blown away by the hospitality and flavors. They are consistently putting out high quality delicious food with warm friendly manners. This time I got an amazing thali, a lunch sampler platter packed with all kinds of delicious goodies like a samosa, curries, paratha and warm saffron basmati rice. The chef is a master of her craft and this area is so lucky to have this kitchen in their community.

Destiny is a strange way of pulling towards something that’s meant to be. We never planned to eat out, least of all Indian cuisine but whiles going to Garnet Graham Beach Park, Fenelon Falls I passed by this eye catching black board “Lotus Indian Bistro” I was tempted by the sign but when I checked it was only 1 pm and the restaurant would open at 4pm. Resigning, that I wouldn’t be able to try it out. Somehow we were still in the area at 3:53 pm and found us enthusiastically in the patio waiting for it to open. First of all my family is Vegan and I’m vegetarian so finding food outside is challenging. Lotus bistro caters to vegans and we ordered their dal vada and baigan bharta dip, also requesting some food for my granddaughter as she was starving. The server within minutes got a paratha and apple chutney which was much appreciated. We ordered everything vegan from Chana masala, veg korma, Gobi Alu and even managed the Dal makhanni( it was amazing to get dal makhanni vegan as most restaurants make it before hand and can’t make it without the butter ghee. Each dish had a distinctive flavour and was as authentic as mumbai style food. Perfect blends of spices and surprisingly easy on the palate as it wasn’t cooked with loads of oil and fats. Super lip licking delicious Indian food where I couldn’t find any fault except wipe the plates clean. Like I said destiny got me to this place leaving me behind in a satiated food coma. Please do visit this restaurant it’s better than most Indian restaurants in Brampton Mississauga. Thank you Nazmun for opening this Gem of a place.

One of the most amazing restaurants I've ever been to! Everything we had was fantastic, couldn't pick a favourite. My pics don't even come close to doing the food justice - Dal vada and pakoras were super crispy and satisfying. Naanwich was lovely, warm fresh off the sandwich press, beautifully spiced, and the side salads are to die for. Crispy potato burger (the mighty aloo) is a must, and the bun was super soft. Soup of the day was an ultra creamy coconut curry squash, with pumpkin seeds for a bit of bite. I'd take a bath in the stuff if I could. All the sauces we had were lick-the-ramekin levels of delicious. Also Lisa and Naz are both super friendly and the atmosphere/decor is great! We live quite far away but will definitely make the trip back just to enjoy another meal here. Love you guys! <3 P. S. Menu has great variety in terms of food for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike, with plenty of gluten-free options for celiacs. Excellent choices available for everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lotus Indian Bistro, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, hospitality, and the enticing aroma of Indian spices. This review is my way of expressing my sincere appreciation for the remarkable culinary journey we embarked upon.

To begin with, the starters were a true revelation. Each dish was skillfully prepared and bursting with authentic flavors. The samosas were perfectly crispy and filled with a delectable combination of spiced potatoes and peas. The tangy tamarind chutney accompanying them added a delightful kick. The Eggplant pakoras were light and crispy, accompanied by a refreshing mint chutney that balanced the flavors beautifully.

Moving on to the mains, I was blown away by the rich and vibrant curries. The butter chicken was a revelation, with its velvety smooth texture and the perfect balance of spices. The tender chicken pieces were immersed in a creamy tomato-based sauce that left me craving for more. The aromatic biryani was a delightful medley of fragrant basmati rice and tender chunks of meat, generously spiced with traditional Indian flavors. Each bite was a symphony of tastes that transported me to the streets of India.

And then came the desserts—oh, the desserts! The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the ginger caramel spice cake. This exquisite creation was a harmonious blend of flavors, with the delicate warmth of ginger beautifully complementing the sweetness of the cake. It was a true masterpiece that left us craving for seconds.

What truly sets Lotus Indian Bistro apart is not just the exceptional food, but also the remarkable staff who made our experience all the more enjoyable. The friendly and attentive service provided by the staff members created an inviting ambiance that made us feel right at home. Their passion for Indian cuisine was evident, as they took the time to explain the intricacies of each dish, making our dining experience all the more enriching.

The soothing Indian music playing softly in the background added the perfect touch to the overall atmosphere, transporting us to the vibrant streets of India. It enhanced the authenticity of the restaurant and further immersed us in the culinary journey we embarked upon.

Lastly, Lotus Indian Bistro exceeded all expectations, delivering a remarkable dining experience that will stay with me for a long time. From the delectable starters to the mouthwatering mains and the unforgettable ginger crèmeal spice cake, every aspect of the meal was a testament to the chef's expertise and the restaurant's commitment to excellence. The friendly staff and the inviting ambiance further enhanced our dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Lotus Indian Bistro to anyone seeking an exceptional...
