Update: We are somewhat limited in our fast food/take out order choices in this area, however even after all the inconvenience and frustration experienced over the years at this drive thru, I tried again...I shouldn't have bothered. I've visited 3 times in the last year, after my original post (see below) were just as disasterous as the crispy chicken blt incident. I surely do prefer the chicken to the burgers but after the 45 minute wait for the last one, I've not ordered one since.
On 2 occasions, I ordered 1/4 pounder and big mac meals thinking as these are often ordered items so I wouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for my order in the "please wait over there" line and a 3rd time, I ordered a bacon and egg english muffin meal. No such luck in any of the above cases, every time, I'm directed to the "wait over there" line and the breakfast meal, after a 10 minute wait, was completely incorrect...I was handed an all dressed BLT sandwich, with only 1 1/2 slices of bacon on it. McDonalds has become nothing but an expensive disappointment these days . (Original post) I ordered a crispy McChicken BLT meal and this was my experience: After waiting in the drive thru line for 20 min, I was then asked to wait in the line up of cars already waiting for their food to be delivered to their cars. Twenty minutes later, I had to ask an employee where my crispy chicken BLT sandwich and fries were....about five min later an employee finally shows up with my food providing excuses "busy" "coupons" etc (this was at 9pm)....by this time I'm so hungry, I just want to get home (45 minute wait in total)...when I do, I find that not only are fries completely unsalted, I didn't get that crispy BLT chicken sandwich as advertised on the outside of the food carton...instead I got a chunk of flabby grilled chicken with a piece of rotten lettuce and flabby bacon. Read moreOn January 4th I was in with my mother at around 8:30. First of all my mother and I were the only two people in line and on the screen it showed two drive thru orders(I work at a restaurant as well I know how it works). Now our orders took almost 8 minutes to fill with(we counted) 10-11 people working. That didn't really bother us we understand cooking times etc. however there is one person there who kept going out to clean, yet when we went over to the Pop station it was disgusting. See with the new system they wait to give you your cups until you have your bags, so you have to bring them with you to the Pop station and in our situation have no where to set them because it's covered in pop and straw wrappers. In a busy rush this would not bother me but the fact that there were 4 orders on the screen. 10 people working and yet it was still disgusting is just showing bad workmanship. I work in a smaller restaurant and we have less people working always, around 3-4 the max 5. everyone does every job not one person for each job and even in a rush of 10-20 customers much more than 4 we make sure that our restaurant is clean as soon as we can get to it. Read moreI'm getting ready disappointed with McDonald's here in Lindsay. This McDonald's this one employee that works midnights her name is Lauren ever single time I deal with her at at this location there seem to be a problem at the window reserving our food or some mistake made with my payment quite often and i did notice a simulaty with this happening with this one employee. Ever time these mistakes are made she makes me feel uncomfortable she doesn't taking accountability or even a sorry she dose the exact opposite she'll shrugs it off and makes you feel like it was your fault and very uncomfortable for saying something. It happened again tonight with my payment they charged me for the wrong one ones again.. this lady/ Laura was at the window I told her my frustrations of this always happens and ones again not even a sorry instead they're employee Laura literally waves her hand for you to off and make you feel like its your fault and ones again uncomfortable for saying something.
