MusterPoint is a delightful coffee and sandwich shop that is going to become my go-to spot in Kawartha Lakes. The highlight of the menu is definitely their focaccia sandwiches, which are an absolute treat for the taste buds. Made from scratch with homemade focaccia bread, these sandwiches take you straight to flavor town!! They melt in your mouth and are just SO good. You can tell they put a lot of care into their craft, as the bread is always perfectly baked and full of rich, savory flavors.

The owners, Danielle and Kyle, trained in Italy to master the art of bread and pasta making, and it shows in every bite. It’s not just the sandwiches that stand out tho! MusterPoint also serves some of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find a proper barista-quality coffee in this area, but their cappuccinos are just perfect—creamy, balanced, and utterly satisfying. They also mentioned they will be coming out with some gluten free options like salads soon so looking forward to trying them!

More outdoor seating for eating would be great. There's one table, but there was a line up waiting for food, so we didn't feel comfortable eating out delicious sandwich in front of everyone else. Lol. We went to the Wilderness Park and enjoyed the shade and quiet. We ordered 3 sandwiches and shared. We got lucky and I'd highly recommend Muster Point offering a trio sampler so that people can enjoy these amazing flavours together. We started with the Meat Trio. This would be my favourite if I picked only one sandwich. Flavourful, delicious. Next we had the Caprese. It's a strong spicy sausage. This was very enjoyable, but I don't think I could eat a whole one - it's a lot of flavour. Lastly we finished with the Emilia. It had a sweetness. Being Italian I’m always nervous to go out and try Italian food or sandwiches because nothing compares to what my Nonna would make…I stumbled upon this place while I was up in the Kawartha Lakes and who doesn’t like an amazing Panino (Italian Sandwich) we drop by for lunch and we were not disappointed, the focaccia was unbelievable one of the best I’ve ever tasted and the meats the fior di latte were super fresh and tasty and very good quality…If you have high standards for Italian sandwiches made to order you gotta check out this place…You will not be disappointed, You have my word on that.
