Amazing flavor combinations. Paired with fresh potato chips and a pickle on the side. Had the Reuben, the Queen B and Totally Whipped which was the daily special. The smoked meat was piled into the Reuben, the sauerkraut balanced well and the bread of all three grilled cheese was toasty but not hard. The Queen B was very good. It's a bacon/apple/cheese/greens combination you can’t go wrong with. They were able to sub normal honey for spicy honey which I appreciated. Despite a huge order just ahead of us and call ahead orders being made, we had out food in under half an hour on a busy Sat afternoon. There are a couple tables out front, but no seating inside at this time. Very happy plants though. 🌱

I had the special (Pineapple Express) and it was awesome. My bud had the Greek and he really liked it. We grabbed a pint across the street at Old Dog Brewery and they delivered it to us. Great service and very friendly. The staff even chatted about the best beer for their upcoming potato soup so you can they are passionate and are sourcing local when they can.

Absolutely delicious grilled cheese - I wish I could go to them every week! I had the special - red, blue, and white (or something like that) and it was a marvelous sandwich. They're also friendly with the brewery across the street so you can take your food over to the brewery or bring your beer/cider to the restaurant - which is awesome! Enjoy it all :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Grilled Cheese Hideaway, and let me just say, it exceeded all of my expectations. As a grilled cheese enthusiast, I couldn't resist trying out a restaurant solely dedicated to this classic comfort food, and I was not disappointed.

First and foremost, the selection of cheeses at The Grilled Hideaway is unparalleled. From gooey mozzarella to sharp cheddar, they truly have something to satisfy every cheese lover's cravings. I appreciate the attention to detail and variety that they offer, allowing me to customize my grilled cheese to perfection.

But it's not only the cheeses that make this place special; it's the owners. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners adds an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience. They genuinely care about their customers and are eager to provide recommendations or accommodate any dietary requests.

The creativity that goes into their grilled cheese combinations deserves applause. The menu features an array of innovative options, such as the "Ultimate BBQ Grilled Cheese" with smoked gouda and tangy BBQ sauce, or the "Mediterranean Meltdown" with feta, olives, and roasted red peppers. Each bite was a delight of flavors and textures, demonstrating their commitment to culinary excellence.

And let's not forget about the perfectly toasted, golden brown bread that encases the cheesy goodness. The Grilled Cheese Hideaway puts a great deal of effort into achieving the ideal balance of crunch and melt, making each bite unforgettable.

Overall, my experience at The Grilled Cheese Hideaway was nothing short of amazing. From the wide selection of cheeses to the friendly owners, this place has it all. If you're a grilled cheese aficionado like me, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. I promise you won't be...

Family owns cottages in the area and have always heard of this place to be amazing, it was definitely amazing however was amazingly DISAPPOINTING. Sign stated they open at 12:00 PM. Arrived at 11:58 AM, decided to wait. A family separate from my spouse and I arrived in a large group of 9. As they walked up at 12:02 they were changing the sign to open. I could see in the owners eyes they were not expecting or happy to see 11 people the minute they opened. We followed behind the group, already had looked online and knew what we wanted to order. The large group told us to go ahead as they looked at the menu. We walked up to the counter to order, and were informed, “Go there to order (register).” We had no idea of the process, never received a hello, welcome, nothing. No bid deal though, we looked past it from the review's of how good it is. As we walked over to the till we then heard from the younger owner, “we will serve you when we are ready!” This was the point I realized I will not provide someone my hard earned money who treats customers this way. You got a rush immediately I understood that, but we were all patient. The way you were late to open, no big deal, we sat in our car till you were ready. However the way you finally spoke to me, no excuses. Give your head a shake, I will never return, the only “tip” you get is do better. From recent replies of reviews I know the owner will only blame us for the service...

Thought this would be a great place for taking our grandson. What kid wouldn't love a restaurant that has Grill Cheese in their name. Very inviting inside, smells good, but not child friendly. Once we were sitting at our table we admired the salt and pepper shakers. Another review mentioned these which are interesting. The waiter came over and said immediately that whatever was spilt from the shakers was our responsibility to clean up. l laughed thinking this was his way of welcoming and introducing himself. Then he said "there not toys". We were uncomfortable and still went ahead with our order. Two of the items we ordered were not available at this time but we finished our order with other items and when he left we looked at each other and said this is not a place for kids. We got up and cancelled our order and left. Too bad l think they could do so much better without this miserable waiter who handled himself so poorly and except well behaved children who would love a grill cheese sandwich. But its their restaurant and they can run it their way, l totally get that. I just wish there was a sign on the door saying adults only so l didn't have to be treated this way. We feel so bad about this experience and although l do not write reviews, this being my first, l feel l wanted...
