Subway — Restaurant in Kawartha Lakes

Terrible unfriendly service and they were completely out of bread! It was this Tuesday night that just passed, just after 9pm! There was an hour or so to go until they were supposed to close. How is Subway Restaurant, a restaurant which built it's reputation and popularity on making sandwiches! Subway promotes that they make their bread fresh right there throughout the day. So how's there no bread available besides a single 6 inch Italian Herb bun and some flatbread? To make it worse the person behind the counter had a serious attitude problem. They were rude, unfriendly, unprofessional and because of that, my family and I will be boycotting this particular Subway Restaurant in Lindsay Ontario. People who work in customer service type jobs that involve interacting with customers/consumers shouldn't have a nasty attitude EVER! Gotta leave the other stuff in your life at the door when you get to work. It's not easy but it's also necessary to be the best employee possible during your shift. We're boycotting this store. Family & friends that know about this are joining us in the boycott. Nothing will change until we decide to do something about it! It's not a big place Lindsay, words gonna spread like wildfire. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews were inspired by, and I’m not trying to undermine anyones experiences. But this location is great and the staff are too, maybe these 1-stars were written when there was different management/staff or that one member is still there, because I won’t disagree that there is a grumpy person there that doesn’t seem to like their job or the customers that much. But every time me, my mom, dad or anyone with me really, wants to stop in for some lunch. The staff is really friendly, helpful and efficient. And the foods always great. Sure I have absolutely ran into grumpy staff, I couldn’t recall their name to tell you. But I’m confident that this individual does not reflect on the goodness of the rest of the team. And regardless the staff running this location (as of Sept 1st 2022) are so kind and patient, they get your order done in a timely manner and accommodate any changes or additions, anything you need even when they’re at their busiest. Please give this review and location a chance. You’re not going to have some miserable time getting a sandwich you’re more likely to run into some really great people, at least from my experiences stopping in through the afternoon-early evening and I do believe they’re on door-dash or regular delivery, and they...

What a horrible experience ordering online from this store. Using the app my son and I ordered from Subway at 370 Kent Street West. Seconds after the order was placed the order was auto canceled so I called the store to inquire. I was told the system canceled the order because we selected delivery and we weren't supposed to do that. I asked why is the option there then, I was not given a clear answer instead was told not to select that option again. I then asked since it was assistant problem we can redo it manually and they can deliver my order since I've already paid online. I was told the order needed to be canceled and refunded before it can be done again but it could not be refunded until three business days later. So now I have no food the store has taken my money and is refusing to either satisfy the order or refund the payment. They're not even answering the phone nor has anyone calling me back to resolve this issue. Quite effectively the store has stolen my money and is refusing to resolve the issue. ...
