McDonald's — Restaurant in Kelowna

I don't even want to rate this McDonald's one star because it's By Far The WORST McDonald's on this planet that I have ever been to But 0 stars is not an option. The staff is horrible and can never get one single order right. I live in Glenmore and am a fairly regular customer. EVERY Single time I have gone to THIS location McDonald's I have had an issue no word of a lie. I always ask for freshly made order and every single time I get stale nasty cold fries, and a stale rock hard chicken patty, not to mention I ask for no lettuce and what do you know... Every single damn time there is lettuce, thank God I am not allergic. How can you fail at what is literally the easiest job in the entire world. It takes absolutely 0 skill to do this job and do it right. A monkey could put these orders together no problem. Yet they complain they want minimum wage to be raised higher cause they can't afford to live but they can't even successfully put together one simple order? This is complete BS. I went today and had a meal deal coupon for a combo which I should pay 5.49$ for (mcchicken, medium fry, and medium drink) so I get to the window to pay and the girl at the window tells me they have no medium cups left so they charged me the regular 10$ saying my coupon does not work in this scenario? How the hell so? It is not my problem they're are no medium cups. On top of charging me full price, they gave me a small coke at the window.. lmao. So I paid more than was supposed to, and got even less than I was supposed to. I will never go to this location again and I truly hope they get shut down because they have no skills in service at all and for damn sure have no customer service skills. Your wages should...

So my hubby and I walk daily. We live in the neighbourhood and decided to stop in for breakfast yesterday (Mother’s Day). I had a wrap ( delicious). My husbands pancakes were tough however. The egg over cooked and the bacon about 2 inches long. They forgot the syrup, butter and fork and knife....I noticed that the couple ahead of us waited a long longer than us to get their food, one of which was a wrap just like mine. And yes ours took quite a while as well. The staff were clearly inexperienced...not their fault, and no leadership was evident.

Today we went for their premiere of the new fish and chips meal at noon. My husband has been very excited about having this option on the menu. Canadian Haddock, surely it was going to be better! The meal was sub-par however. Although the fish tasted ok.it looked nothing like the picture. The picture illustrates a more traditional hand battered shape (3 total). Ours were shaped like triangles, something like the ones you buy in the frozen food section (2 total). The fries were cold and limp and I can honestly say that at 8:27 pm I’m still feeling the after effects. The girl that took our order was going to charge us full price for the large pop that was clearly listed at $.99 for the summer. She was new she said, and hadn’t been told.

So, it looks like we’ll not be returning any time soon. Besides this the tables are not wiped, no napkins in the dispensers I can go on and on but... I’m...

Every morning I go to this McDonald's, as it is the only one on the way to work. Every morning I ask the same drive thru lady taking my order "how she is doing today?" or something along those lines. Everyday I am not granted the same courtesy, often the response received in return is simply "What can I get you?" nothing more. I am always greeted with zero sincerity and a complete lack of customer service. I find it appalling that this is the level of integrity that the employees are held to at this establishment. Human Kindness 101 clearly states that when asked "how are you?", especially by a customer, you return them the same gesture. I wish that my morning wasn't soured by this everyday, but it is. Honestly I'm just disappointed that this is how McDonald's trains their drive thru staff to greet their customers. I was hoping that doing this every morning with the same lady I would be able to one day break through, but it is quite apparent that this is a lost cause. The food is always good but the service is completely disrespectful. If possible go to a different establishment, maybe there they will understand...
