Post Haus Pub — Restaurant in Kelowna

I recently visited Post Haus Pub in Kelowna, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! The food here is absolutely top-notch—every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The quality is outstanding, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation shining through in every bite. The portion sizes are just right, leaving you satisfied without feeling overwhelmed, and the dollar value is incredible. You get generous, high-quality meals at prices that feel like a steal for what’s delivered to your table.

Our servers, Samantha and Kelly, were an absolute highlight. They’re clearly friends, and their warm, welcoming energy made the experience even better. Their service was fantastic—attentive, quick, and always with a smile, making us feel like regulars. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their recommendations were spot-on.

The chef deserves a special shoutout as well. The culinary skill on display is top-notch, with each dish showcasing creativity and expertise. It’s clear the chef takes pride in their work, delivering plates that are as delicious as they are beautifully presented. Food is always good, however, the last few times I have been in have been the worst service I think I have ever received in my entire life (from the girl with dark hair that wear a hat, the blonde ladies are great). Last time I was in there were 3 other tables in the restaurant, and it took 15 minutes to have the server to come by our table, for the first time. She then did not ask if we were eating after our drinks were dropped off. After 45 minutes of sitting there we finally got our food order in. Come around to check out time, the bill was brought as one so we asked for it to be separated. 15 minutes later the separate bills were brought. The server sets up one bill for payment then never came back. I had to enter the second bill in so we could leave (10 minutes after bill 1 was already paid). I hope that this can be taken as a learning experience, and that the said server realizes that it's not okay to make someone check themselves out. Food here is good from a previous experience (Thus the two stars) but the service makes it feel like you're not even there. Upon entering, and being noticed by multiple staff (granted one was a super busy waitress who seemed to have to serve a lot of tables by herself), we awkwardly stood in the entrance way waiting for someone to simply say something like "somebody will be with you shortly, sorry for the wait" for like 10 minutes. The bartender who didn't seem busy (and looked like she didn't feel like helping out the poor waitress or dealing with customers), saw us and slowly walked away. When she finally came over, she sounded unenthusiastic as if she didn't want to deal with us and as a result we just felt like leaving and did. So we went to Olympia and got much better service and delicious food. Maybe it's a temporary COVID thing but unless you want to feel invisible and like an inconvenience, I'd recommend...
