Their Pani Puri is pathetic!! They are running a bogo offer on Uber Eats, but its absolutely disgusting and a waste of money. Aloo masala they give with puri is so little as if they are doing a favor on us. And the water is just artificial tasting with all the premade packs, nothing made from scratch. It was also chilled like it was frozen. Save your money. 0/10!!
I ordered their Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry and Tandoori Rotis. To be honest, reading the reviews, I expected their food to be good but my experience was just about average. I didn't like their Lamb curry at all, it lacked flavors and wasn't upto the mark. Plus, most of the pieces were very hard, they weren't tender at all. Few I had to just spit it out because they were so hard to chew. I didn't like their rotis too, they were very thick and I personally believe they weren't 100% whole wheat as i am allergic to wheat flour (maida) and the moment I had, I puked. So the only good thing about their order was the Butter Chicken, so 2 stars just for it! If you are craving for good butter chicken, then you can order from them.
Ordered again April 2022 I ordered Keema Naan, Chole Bhature and Chicken Noodles. Keema Naan was good, worth ordering Chole Bhature is not something I would recommend, chole were just below average and bhature seemed to be ready-made (like tortilla fried). It doesn't look traditionally made in the restaurant. And stay away from Chicken Noodles. They use pretty thick noodles, not the traditional ones, didn't like them at all. So my rating remains the same! (Attaching pics of the order)
Update: Visited the place on Aug 11, 2022 My experience was totally different from the takeout. The food was yummy and the service was excellent. The owner of the place was very humble. Loved the visit hence changing the rating from 2 to 5. (Pics attached)
Visited again, and it lived up to the expectation. The food was awesome, and this time, it touched my heart. Ordered rotis, naans, dal makhni, cream chicken, and the star of the night moongdal halwa. Must try!!! Have shared pics 😊
Ordered Delivery: Pav Bhaji and Kulche Chole. Kulche Chole was good but Pav Bhaji's bhaji was super spicy, not sure why? Didn't taste good as well. We didn't eat. Also tried their Gajar Halwa which was not good. It was way sweeter and the sweetener didn't seem like sugar, it seemed more like condensed milk. They used to sell Moong Dal Halwa which was so good but now they don't sell that unfortunately, not sure...
Read moreWe recently ate at Ustaad Ji 76 in Kelowna and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The ambience was extremely poor — the table we sat at was wobbly and uneven, the place looked worn out, and it even had a stale, unpleasant smell. The crockery they presented us with had stains, some pieces were broken, and none of the bowls or plates even matched, which gave a careless and unhygienic impression right from the start. The food was no better. The makhani paneer they served was overly sweet with a strange chemical taste, and its unnaturally bright red color made it obvious that artificial dyes were used. It had nothing close to the authentic flavor of makhani paneer. We replaced it with chana masala, but that too was disappointing bland, clearly cooked a long time ago, and reheated without care. Overall, the experience was horrible. The so-called Ustaad ji is not really an Ustaad of good food but rather an Ustaad of terrible, tasteless dishes served in a badly maintained restaurant. There was no focus on quality, cleanliness, or even basic standards, and it’s not a place worth recommending.
Only thing tasted good was the fennel seeds...

I’ve dined at many Indian restaurants, but this one truly stands out as one of the best in Kelowna. From the very first visit, I was impressed—not just by the authentic flavors, but also by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and consistent quality of both food and service.
I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, from the deliciously crispy Chana Bhatura to the rich and flavorful Goat Curry and every single dish has been a hit. The spices are perfectly balanced, the ingredients always taste fresh, and the presentation is thoughtful. Whether you're in the mood for something vegetarian or a hearty meat dish, they have it all—and they do it really well.
A big shoutout to Jasleen and Naman who always go above and beyond to make sure the service is top-notch. They’re friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about the dining experience. It’s always a pleasure to be greeted with a smile and served with such professionalism.
If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine with consistently great food and service, this place is a must-visit. I’ve never been disappointed, and I’ll keep...
