I am happy they are finally back up. I would say they are actually better than before they were shut down. Their Chicken chow mein is the best in Kelowna hands down. I am from Vancouver and have been trying to find good Chinese food here... There are very few places that are even semi good. Imperial Chicken chow mein is one that is amazing. It has a wonderful smokey flavour and it tastes amazing, while also not soggy. I liked their Chicken balls. They are light on the batter and a bit crispy, so depends if you like that. I can't say their sweet and sour sauce is my favorite though. Their ginger beef is sweet but had a good flavour. I wish the beef batter was crispier and the beef less chewy but overall a good ginger beef for around here. This will be, hands down, my go to place. I haven't found any place that I was happy with. (Yum Yum is up there too) It still is not as good as Vancouver for their meats, but I haven't found anything in Kelowna that is good. Over the years we have tried several places for Chinese take out, Imperial Garden has become our go to place for take out and when we are coming back from Big White in the winter. The food has always been consistent and fresh. Never in 50 + orders over the years have we had an off meal

I dont know how they do it but it always arrives hot. Ya the odd time we order when everyone else does at peak times but never over an hour before its here. Our favs, we love the spicy Ginger Beef, sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice. We order the dinner for 2 and always there is enough to have a 2nd lighter meal the next day, good value and consistent quality. Tried several other Chinese in the city, no one can get that ginger beef the way we like it, perfect texture and just the right amount of spice. OMG the worst experience ever. We were in 4 and 2 babies, when we arrived there was no client and a long table reserved. We’ve ordered our food and after 45-60 minutes we received part of our order. We complained because it was missing another main dish and were told that they have given it to the big table. After all, we asked to wrap the leftover and this young guy said that he did not have time for that because was helping this big group. 🤔 (*he was dancing right on the kitchen door 5 minutes before) When we were paying, we said that we were a long time client and he can not say that to a client and even an apology for the other dish missing he said nothing.
