Terrible Experience - Avoid Burger Baron At All Costs!
My recent visit to Burger Baron was nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering going there to think twice. From the moment I walked in, I was met with an unappealing, dirty and disorganized atmosphere that immediately put a damper on my appetite.
To start, the customer service was shockingly abysmal. The staff seemed to be more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. Despite being the only patron in the restaurant, it took an eternity for someone to take my order. Not only were they completely indifferent, but they also got the order wrong not once, but twice. It showed a complete lack of attention to detail and utter incompetence.
Now let's talk about the food, or lack thereof. The burger I received was cold, dry, and tasted as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The bun was stale and crumbly, making it difficult to bite into. The french fries were overcooked, soggy, and lacked any flavor whatsoever. It was a disappointing and far cry from what a decent burger joint should be offering.
Cleanliness is also a concern here. The tables and floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The whole place had a distinct odor of grease and old condiments, which really didn't enhance the dining experience.
To make matters worse, the prices at Burger Baron are outrageously high for the lackluster quality they offer. It's an insult to pay such a premium for such subpar food and service. There are countless other burger joints in town that offer far superior quality and value for money.
Overall, I cannot stress enough how much of a disappointment Burger Baron was. I left feeling cheated, unsatisfied, and a little queasy from the whole experience. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place...
Read moreFood was gross, they lied about what was in it and I got sick from it. Thanks guys!
The burger was drowned in so much 1,000 island dressing I couldn't even taste anything. Might as well have just drank the frigging bottle. The patty itself is smaller than any I have ever seen, and to get a double they charge almost double. The fries are the same cheap ones you go down to the grocery store and buy to throw in your oven, they even seemed kind of freezer burnt. Garbage.
On top of that, I asked for no mayo on the burger. She said they don't use any. I asked if there was mayo in the "Baron Sauce", she said no mayo whatsoever. I found this hard to believe. Turns out, 1,000 island is basically just mayo with ketchup. This is important because I have an allergy with eggs, if I eat things like mayo or some kinds of Caesar dressing I can get very sick. Which I did! I spent the rest of my day on the toilet and shivering and after looking up the ingredients to 1,000 island, found out exactly why. And hey, if I'm wrong and it wasn't 1,000 island and there really was no mayo in the thing, then I just got sick from it for completely different reasons, which is 10 times worse than if it was just from my allergy.
I have never written a bad review about anyone or anything before but this just really got under my skin. Honestly if it was just that I didn't like the food, I just wouldn't go back. I wouldn't sit here writing a...
Read moreI can’t say I understand the hype of this place. I went to try these famous burgers for the first time and I was met with a disappointing patty, mediocre flavour and a swimming pool of ketchup and soggy lettuce. Overall it wasn’t very good, and I didn’t end up finishing it. My partner got the chicken club and it was much better, but quite dry. We ordered the onion rings and a poutine to go with it. The onion rings were good, no complaints there, but the poutine was not good at all. The fries had this awful smell, like the oil hadn’t been changed in forever. And the fries were of equal quality to frozen crinkle cut fries you get at the grocery store. For all this food, I paid $27.00, which I would have been fine spending if the food had the quality of almost a $15 meal each. But instead it turned out to be over priced. I doubt I will be returning here, as I would literally prefer a McDonald’s...
