Rated number 1 on Tripadvisor a unique restaurant without regular kitchen. They have small ready to serve kind of kitchen where the magic happens. They serve good variety of soup, sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner with bar. I went there to try lunch and got daily special which was Grilled chicken salad with roasted almonds, cheese and dry cranberries. The daily specials are usually same and do not change often. I also got Thai chicken soup. My friend got same. Both dishes were of great quality and with sufficient quantity. The grilled chicken has little extra salt for person like me who avoid too much salt, however, it was perfect for my friend as he loved it so much. Our server was Regan, she is an amazing person and service was quick too. The price was very reasonable, for both soup and salad and it was with tax and tip around $25. A perfect lunch and I will definitely go there for dinner to see how it feels. I am not sure what time it closes, I guess early so please check time before go and it is a must go place in Kincardine if you like quick amazing food....

Very poor vegetarian options and worst Bruschetta ever.

We came on a cold night for dinner looking for a hot meal for the family. A number of whom are vegetarian. We were told they had options when enquired.

Menu.. had nothing vegetarian for main meal. The server said well have a starter. So they did.

Bruschetta is simple and we expected grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt and tomato .. oh it was grim. It tasted like cheap garlic bread with tinned tomato and melted cheese.

I had the soup which lacked taste and I it was like mass catered canteen soup. We did not have a good time.

Get there early...

My wife and I were on vacation and decided to stop by the town of Kincardine.

When in the area of Kincardine, you need to stop in at Hawgs. Food is top notch and tasty. Was hard for me to decide which sandwich to order. Egg salad or tuna melt. I finally picked the tuna melt with a ceasar salad. My wife had the Ruben with potato leek soup. So good.

Our server Laura was so nice and helped me decide. The desserts (carrot cake and butter tarts) were made by a family member of Laura's. AMAZING!

Thanks Laura for looking after my wife and I. Also, the added touch put into our carry out bag. You are so sweet.
