Locals — Restaurant in Kincardine

Came in on Monday night with my husband, we’re not from the area and we looked at all the local food menus before deciding on coming here. Our server Kayla (pretty sure that’s what her name was) was amazing she was able to help us though the menu with all our questions relating to dietary needs. We ordered a pitcher of white sangria to share and it was fantastic definitely one of the best house made sangrias i’ve had before the fresh lemons, limes, and oranges topped it off! Even my husband who doesn't love wine found it good! Very amazed to know that this building use to be a movie theatre, she even showed us the old pictures they have upfront of the theatre. They were very busy this night and we were still able to get our food in great time. When it came to dessert we both ordered the cheesecake and it was fantastic. We were sitting outside and next time we will we definitely want to come around the sunset time as there is an amazing view of the pretty sky. Ordered Sunday breakfast..1st off asked for tea, was told had to plug in kettle it for hot water and it may blow the fuses....WHAT, 2nd ordered our breakfast and my husband and I both said we would like brown bread.."WILL CAN'T PROMISE THAT IT'S WHATEVER COMES OUT OF THE KITCHEN IS WHAT WE HAVE....WHAT (white is what we got) 3rd got my breakfast with bacon which was over cooked to almost being charded and was waiting for the waitress to come around d to show her (which she never did until the end to pick up plates) I told her about the bacon, reply.."THAT'S HOW OUR COOK ALWAYS DOES IT CAUSE HE DOESN'T EAT PORK"...WHAT AND THIS IS WHY THE CUSTOMER CAN'T HAVE BACON COOKED RIGHT 4th husband did not get a breakfast sausage but a 1 huge bratwurst sausage which was terrible....this was our 2nd visit in one week, thinking first meal when my husband had a terrible meal of fish and chips was maybe just a one off....NOPE AND SHALL NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE OR BE BACK...Sorry but the prices of going out for a meal these days your establishment does not deserve one...

Ordered take out and was sorely disappointed. The restaurant have removed some items from the menu but it hasn't been updated online. The order while ready in good time was bland at best. As an appetizer, the avocado spring rolls were ok, but $16 for 4 small spring rolls is overpriced. The loaded Mac and cheese was anything but "loaded" It was ordered with bbq tofu which I doubt saw a bbq at any time in its life. The spiral pasta had zero parmesan that saw an oven or grill to be crusty like the menu described. The Nachos were ordered with chicken, cheese, green onions, jalapenos, bbq sauce and salsa. I guess the jalapenos and green onions were still growing as they were not included in the dish. The pita with spinach dip, also had the same nacho chips (great deal on those at Costco right now) with oily flavourless dip. At least it contained some spinach, however Popeye might be disappointed! Sorry Locals for the accurate description, but we as local customers should not have to accept sub-par food especially even though there's limited...
