Sushi Won — Restaurant in Kincardine

Very, very poor service at our last visit! Our waiter made an error in bringing me out a different type of roll than what I had ordered. Instead of simply apologizing and correcting it, he became defensive and argumentative. He just stood there and when I said I had ordered something different he replied with "no you didn't" and just kept repeating that until we said we would keep the food that was given in error but please can I have the roll that I ordered in the first place since what came by mistake wasn't something I would eat... my husband ate it... I heard the waiter say something to the chef and then when they brought out my correct order it was made very sloppy, rolls were falling apart, no Wasabi or ginger on the plate. They of course charged the rolls that were made in error...

Wish I could give it more stars! This is not an all-you-can-eat place. The menu has a mix of Japanese sushi and Korean dishes (so a sushi lover can enjoy a meal with a non-sushi eater!). We had the small sushi boat sushi boat and the quality was excellent. Thick slices of fish topped smaller-than-usual rice squares. (A very nice change from the AYCE which usually had thin fish and extra rice). Everything was freshly made and delicious! The rolls were rolled in sesame seeds which also added a nice mellowness to the flavour.

Have ordered take-out several times in the last year and was very good, generous portions and tasty. The seaweed salad however was mostly lettuce! Each time I called, I made sure to tell them I wanted all seaweed. Did dine in for the first time.recently, thus the 3 stars.
