Booster Juice — Restaurant in Kitchener

I would leave a 0 star review if I could.

I’m not the type of person to leave a review but I have been there a handful of times in the last few weeks as my kid enjoys the splash pad and each time it has taken at minimum 30 minutes for my drink. Today was the last straw.

On August 16, 2025 at 1PM I walked in to two overwhelmed employees trying to make drinks. The blender area was chaotic with garbage and juice all over the place. The one girl thought it would be a good time to punch out for her break. I proceeded to wait an extra 45 minutes just to have my order taken. I laughed internally as the debit machine offered a tip option. By the time my order was being taken, the girl was returning from her break. In that time, I witnessed the employee drop a cap on the floor and put it directly back onto the container without sanitizing it first. I witnessed a few drinks go out with the outsides of the cup covered in stickiness from a messy pour. The only thing I didn’t witness was a “sorry for the long delay” or any type of customer service to make it right. I finally received my drinks after 50 minutes of waiting, but by that time not even the funkiest of monkeys could brighten my spirits.

To the owner: Do better. Your staff are completely overwhelmed. What makes me more mad than anything is the fact that your reviews are riddled with hundreds of comments just like mine.

To the staff: Do better. I know it gets busy from time to time but we can’t simply can’t shortcut customer service and basic hygiene practices.

This entire place (Owner, and Staff) need to be thrown in a blender with a little lemon, frozen yogurt, and pineapple. I just hope you don’t have to wait as long as I...

I love this Booster Juice, always fast friendly service and delicious drinks and food. I had 3 smoothies and a food item.

First was the Banango Burst Smoothie: bananas, mango, guava, passionfruit and whey protein. This was a really nice smoothie, the banana and mango for sure came through most in this drink; though the whey protein makes it thicker and a little harder to drink but not too bad of a factor. Overall a solid smoothie, that I would purchase again.

Second was the Mango Hurricane Smoothie: mango, strawberries, bananas, orange and yogurt. This was a delicious smoothie! It has a lot of good flavours and the mango and orange really came through in this drink. This was my favourite smoothie, until I had the following smoothie.

Last smoothie was the Strawberry Sunshine Smoothie: strawberries, bananas, passion fruit, guava and yogurt. Lovely flavour, with strawberry and guava coming through the most. It tastes like summer in a smoothie, delicious! I think this is my current favourite smoothie.

Final review is for the Chipotle Chicken Panini. It had chicken, peppers, onions, cheese and chipotle sauce. It did not look like anything fancy but this was phenomenal! It was freshly made, hot and delicious! I never thought to order food from a smoothie shop but I'm so glad I did, it was addictive in flavour and I want to buy it again for sure! I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Booster Juice today due to the unacceptable behavior of one of the new hire employees(VERY RUDE YOU’re lady)!. From the moment I approached the counter to place my order, the employee was noticeably rude and dismissive. She barely acknowledged me and seemed more interested in chatting with her colleagues.

After placing my order, I was shocked to find myself waiting for a full 30 minutes. During this time, I observed the employee handing out orders to other customers who arrived after me, while completely ignoring my presence. When my order was finally ready, she carelessly placed it on the table without a word, almost as if she was deliberately disrespecting me.

Such behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. I expect better customer service and a respectful attitude towards all customers. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I hope Booster Juice addresses this issue promptly to prevent other customers from facing...
