Cafe Europe — Restaurant in Kitchener

If you’re in KW, you should come visit this café. If you don’t live in KW, I would still recommend coming to this café :)

I don’t usually leave reviews but I think it would be a shame to not share how much I love this café.

I was looking for a place to study today and came in for a coffee. Not only was the cappuccino excellent, but you could see how this café wasn’t only a business but an integral part of the community. The family who owns it is so wonderful — I’m not sure how long I stayed for but it must’ve been at least 2 hours because we started to talk and it was so lovely. There was a sincere kindness and love that radiated from here and it was clear that many others felt this way as people would come in to grab a drink and chat with the owner about their life. Cafe Europe is an absolute gem! They serve rich, flavorful espresso-based drinks, and the cappuccino I had was absolutely delicious — smooth, perfectly balanced, and beautifully made. Walked in, was stared at by two men who were inexplicably watching a screen that only had some color coded numbers on it.

Took 5 minutes for somebody behind the counter to notice us and she asks "yes?"

We asked if we can eat in. And she seemed confused. Then we asked if we can get food to which she replied "we can make sausage".

All the while the strange men continued to stare.
