I’ve really enjoyed other locations of Coffee Culture but felt this one fell short. They have walk up counter service with tables located both inside and outside on their sheltered patio. Their street facing entrance is closed; you must enter/exit at the patio doors. The weekday we arrived, at 2:30 pm, very few tables were available; none had been wiped clean. When we placed our order, we advised we were sharing our lunch order, but no additional plate or cutlery were delivered to our table when they dropped off our meal, nor did we receive any napkins (we just returned to the counter to request). We’d chosen to make our chicken Caesar wrap a combo by adding a side salad and coffee. The upgraded berry pecan side salad with blueberries and nuts sounded promising, but was drenched in too much balsamic vinegar dressing. The opposite was true with the wrap- not enough dressing, but lots of fresh, crunchy lettuce. The wrap was far too bland as seemed like it was just chicken and lettuce on a wrap. For what we paid, this lunch was not a do over for us. Desserts and specialty coffees did look appealing though.

This was my third visit to this restaurant. The last time I came was about a week ago. On that occasion I arrived at 7 pm and ordered from the "Breakfast all day" without any problem. However, this time I got here around the same time and tried to order an English muffin combo from the same menu, but was told rudely by the girl at the counter. "We don't make eggs after 12 pm," to which I replied that the last time I came in, I was able to order that combo. Her response was "My boss is not here." Furthermore, when she served the food she did so in a rude manner. And last but not least, when the drinks were ready she didn't even say anything since I was still waiting for them when I noticed that the drinks were on the counter and were served in disposable cups and not mugs. Having said that, I will not come back to this place again. Update Attached is the copy of my receipt in case you are thinking that this is a fake review.

I had coffee here first time with my sisters and mom. I asked the lady that this is our first time. Could you suggest us whats best for less sugar and your popular ones. She just behaved really rude by pointing me to the screens. I also work in customer service we never did like this. She should welcome. Their customers with a real smile and help them properly someone taking little more minutes not going to affect her work. I hope I even not give 1 star We had super smoothy which was good. But latte and cappuccino was not. Good at all. Hot beverages meant to be hot but they weren’t. We try new things always and suggest review on google but this wasn’t good experience at all. There was good comfortable space to sit. But if customer service is not good, food is not good you won’t be able to stay there for even some minutes. Kindly work on your customer service.

I just visited the coffee culture on boardwalk at 2:10 pm on Sunday December 13th

The lady who served us did not wear her mask properly. When I asked her why it was below her nose, she explained that she is so hot in the restaurant. I pleaded with her as I’m in the service industry myself. But I explained regardless you are around food, you cannot alter or take off your mask. Then she explained to me there are times were they are allowed to take it off. I explained to her I’m on the health and safety committee and the only time you can take off your mask is if you are by yourself away from food and staff and in the staff room, more than 6ft away from the entrance door. At my restaurant, we don’t even allow the employees to take off their masks regardless of alone and even mandated safety glasses that are required when serving and in the building. THEN She continued to make up excuses and finally said that she has an exemption in regards for wearing a mask. I told her that in the food service industry public health mandated you wear one. Regardless of exemptions, you shouldn't be working here then if you can’t wear your mask properly. I even pointed out the health and safety guidelines posted on the menu board, that the company has put in practice for a reason. She was explained the day had been so dead as she had her water colour paint station set up in the corner of the restaurant.

No wonder it was dead! Another 4 customers walked in and left due to them seeing her wear her mask on improperly. I changed my order from a breakfast sandwich to something in the pastry display as I wouldn’t have to worry about her breathing all over it. What a disgusting cafe! Imagine someone caring more about how comfortable they are, then the public health of the guests she serves.

SO SO SO SOOOO GROSSS. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A GOD...

I’ve been to this location multiple times as I come in to this plaza for medical appointments often. ( coming from an hour away) this is my usual go to spot. However, yesterday I wanted the berry smoothie and was craving something sweet. At first glance the show case was very empty not what it usually was - red velvet cheesecake - brownies, a couple apple danishes and a couple cookies is all they had. I decided to go for the brownie. At $5.75 for a brownie I expect it to be half decent. While waiting for my smoothie I took a bite of the brownie. Immediately I could tell it was old. This was not fresh by any means. I brought it up to the girl who was making my smoothie and I tried to do this in the most polite and quiet way to not embarrass them- however she told me “it’s just frozen I just pulled it out of the freezer- I can warm it up” I said no as the product is still old and I’m going to just throw it out. I’m a baker and have been for 10+ years and know when a product is well past its best before date. She was not budging. Normally I don’t like this type of confrontation but why am I going to throw out $5.75. I asked for her managers number and she said I could just come back. Again, I live from out of town - and why would the customer come back to rectify their OLD product. I said I would not be coming back which is when she finally said she would give me my money back in cash ( even tho I paid on debit). Just wild to me that they’re serving old product and it’s up to me to fix the situation. I definitely will never come back to...

A failing coffee shop. My wife, sister-in-laws and 2 year old daughter ordered from this location together. I asked the cashier for a manager, who turned out to be the OWNER. They waited several minutes for the order. She notifies my family that the lids for the cups are not secure and may fall off, which is clearly unsafe and a manufacturer issue. My two year old daughter happened to ACCIDENTALLY drop the drink on the floor because of the faulty lids. The owner then tells the girls that “You better move if you want me to clean that up” in a very rude and unprofessional tone. The drink wasn’t even replaced as a complimentary ! I don’t normally leave reviews but this one deserves to be heard. I’ve visited this location multiple times, hoping they will improve but there is always an issue. They are either out of stock on items, the cashiers are rude, not properly trained and some don’t even know what ingredients are in with the food/drinks. When I called and confronted her over the phone, she denied any spill ever happened. My wife wouldn’t lie about a situation like this. No employee, especially the OWNER in this case has the right to humiliate my family (especially an innocent 2 year old) or any future customers in front of everyone in the way this location did. Head office...
