While at this restaurant I had gotten up to use the washroom, went and sat back down with my family to enjoy my meal, when I was approached by a supervisor named Tammy who proceeded to reprimand me for not flushing the toilet when I was in the washroom. In front of my family, friends and everyone in the restaurant. I tried flushing, but you know how those things only half flush most of the time and not to give TMI, but I had only gone pee, there was nothing solid in the toilet.
Anyway, I asked her why she followed me into the bathroom, she lied and said to change the garbage. I asked why she knew I used the stall, she said because she noticed how long I was in there for (remember I only went number 1 so I was only in there for a minute or two) I told her I think it's disgusting and invasive that she keeps track of her customer's bathroom habits. The worst part about this too is that I suffer from a shy bladder, so you can imagine this only exacerbated said medical condition. Which in itself I think is grounds for a lawsuit.
I then asked to speak to her manager, whom she told me wasn't in at the moment. So I asked for his contact info, she refused to give it to me. So I asked when he would be in next, she said she didn't know. So I gave up and left the restaurant one very disgusted and violated feeling customer.
I called the manager today and he told me he would talk to Tammy about her inappropriate behaviour and call me back when he's in on Monday.
I'm so utterly disgusted by this though that I'm considering consulting a civil lawyer and/or the media depending on what happens when the manager calls me back. Either way, I'll definitely be seeking...
Read moreI normally use a different location, but was closest to this location on Westmount when I placed my small order through the app at 4:13pm. When you order through the app, it always gives a message "estimated" pick up time in 9 min and states the time. At the Boardwalk location I've had zero issues in dozens of orders using this method when I place my order from my car and proceed to the pick up window (you pull up, state you placed an order in the app, then they give it to you at the window, no trouble). At this location, however the drive-thru staff member didn't offer a friendly greeting whatsoever, and proceeded to point out (while holding the receipt) that my pickup is 4:22pm. It was 4:17pm. No one was behind me in the drive-thru, however he told me to leave the drive-thru and come back into the drive-thru at 4:22pm. I mentioned how I've done this many times and have never been asked this, but he insisted, and didn't even offer to "let me wait" at the window. It didn't appear busy inside (maybe 1 at the counter, 1 sitting). So, I left and parked my car, then decided to go inside and wait. My food was then handed to me, and it was 4:19pm. I understand that this is so small, however, kindness, patience, and common sense, go a long way! I really love this Harvey's location because the drive-thru operates very quickly. I stop by at least once every day.
But unfortunately, there is a huge, deep pothole right at the drive-thru exit, and every time it damages my car. I keep forgetting that the pothole is there. While I'm placing my drink and food in the car, my vehicle suddenly drops into the hole and there's no way to avoid it because there isn’t enough space for cars to steer around it.
Every vehicle coming out of the drive-thru ends up hitting this deep pothole. And it hasn’t been fixed for the past 3 months.
I’m addressing the owner here — please fix this large pothole. Once it’s fixed, I’ll change my 1-star review to 5...
