Ordered a dinner platter for 1. It’s New Years Eve so they are busy, I get that. My husband drove all the way there…and was late picking it up due traffic. I open it and all I see is a sad unappetizing styrofoam container with rice and chow mein and the most greasiest oily spring roll squished in the bottom of the bag. I called and explained how they got the order wrong and asked them if they could please make the proper order and I would drive all the way there again, and to please just charge me the difference which was about 4 dollars. She tells me. No. I will have to REORDER the dinner plate (even thought it was closer to dinner). They gave me the nasty looking lunch combo that contained only rice and bean sprouts that insanely cost 10 dollars. To be told No, on New Year’s Day after driving all the way there and even though they made the mistake, saying I would have to reorder the dinner plate at full price. She had to double check with the owners so this wasn’t the clerks judgment. SHAME ON YOU! You look cheap and obviously do not care about customers only making your money on New years. Plus your food looked disgusting. I love supporting small businesses, but this just shows you how much they don’t care about their customers. On New Years as well when they are going to make a large sum of money on one of their busiest days...
Read morePoor delivery service, half rotted vegetables: I usually simply withhold reviews of food that is less than satisfying, preferring to praise those places whose food is good and ignore the rest. This time, however, there were too many things that were really wrong. To begin with, the driver tipped himself instead of allowing me to choose whether to do so and how much to tip him. I handed him $40, in the form of 2 twenties for an order that totalled $26.22. He handed me 2 fives in change. That put me in the awkward position of having to decide whether or not to ask for the rest of my change. That amounts to poor service. Secondly, the vegetables were not fresh. I have done enough stir fries to know what the texture should be. Some of these vegetables had a sliminess to them that suggested they were anything but fresh. So I simply couldn't eat them
Between the driver's lack of civility and the poor quality of the vegetables, I've decided that my first order will be my last unless you can prove to me that you are capable serving properly fresh vegetables and ask your driver to observe proper manners when making change. It should be the customer's decision, not his as to how much of a tip is warranted, especially since there was already a $6.00 charge for...
Read moreThis place is terrible. I decided to try it for the first time and ordered combo 8 (which was supposed to be sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken fried rice, and chicken and vegetables with a spring roll). Not only was the portion extremely small for the price, there was no chicken in the vegetable side, 3 small shreds of chicken in the fried rice, 4 small measly chicken balls, and a soggy sad egg roll. What a joke - how do you run a business like this? Normally for the same price at other Chinese places you get a huge portion where you have left overs. I'm still hungry after this! I called to complain and they offered me 30% on my next order but I will not be coming back.
Edit in response to the owner: I called the restaurant before I took the first bite, and I told them I just opened the box. A better response on their end would have been to remake the dish, not a small discount on...
