Went through drive thru this morning, we ordered two sausage and egg McMuffin combos, one with a large coffee 2 milk, and one with a large iced coffee half cream. I used my pay code at the speaker. I was waved thru by a friendly young man at the pay window, he had a wonderful smile! Pull up the the pick up window, was promptly handed out food by a very nice young lady, but was about to be handed two hot coffees. I said "Oh sorry, one was supposed to be a large iced coffee with half cream." She turned and voiced the mistake, only to then be ranted at by who I assume was the supervisor about the cost difference, me the customer, and the mistake, on and on. I assume since using the pay code it comes up as a mobile order, the mistake was presumed to be mine, when it was not. I was not asked to pay the difference, though I happily would have, I even had the change in my hand ready once I realised what had happened, but instead, the still ranting supervisor thrust a medium iced coffee, with what looked like extra cream rather than half, into this poor girls hand, who then handed it to me and wished me a good day.
As a drive thru supervisor myself, I was shocked at the level of unprofessionalism, I would never behave so rudely especially in earshot of the customer. All over a mismade coffee .. good grief.
