I recently took my 7-year-old son to Dyna Care for blood work, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care we received from Amber. Read moreHave you ever tried to call Dynacare? Don't bother. I have tried to call the Kitchener, Hamilton, and Milton locations over 10+ times in the last week, every single time I am on hold for 4 minutes before Dynacare hangs up. I've never been able to call through. Go in-person if you even want to ask them a question. Furthermore, when you're there, don't listen to reception when they tell you to call the hospital for the billing price of the testing- even if they send the sample to a Hospital. Dynacare will tell you to ask your referral physician, who will then tell you to call the Hospital (who is conducting the test) and the Hospital will then tell you it is weird that Dynacare can't tell you the price- because they bill through Dynacare not directly to the customer. So then, you can drive back to Dynacare (because they never pick up their phones), wait in line, and ask them billing question. I went back, asked about the billing, turns out the reception is now telling me there is no payment necessary if it is a hospital analysis. Absolutely grand, what was the purpose of the billing form? Nothing I guess. Moral of the story, if you can, save yourself the trouble and go to life-labs; if they could do this specific testing I would've never had the blessing of having to...
Read moreI went in to get a 24hr urine test and at first they handed me the wrong size collection cup then gave me the right one and sent me on my way. Good thing the collection cup has the instructions on it (but they didn’t even tell me that, just gave it to me and walked away). When it was returned nothing was said. I then missed one call from them and tried to call back right after and no one answered. I tried calling multiple times over a few days and it just rings and rings and rings. I got a bill in the mail for almost $600, I should have been told when I picked up the collection cup. If I knew I would have waited till I had the money. I’ve tried calling serval times, and it just rings for 3 minutes and disconnects. I saw in the comments to call the customer service line and when I finally connected with someone, I said sorry I can’t hear and then okay one minute and then hung up. The only reason I went to DynaCare is because lifelabs didn’t offer the type of test I needed. Poor customer service and not answering the phone seems to be an ongoing issue.
