Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Kitchener

Great experience and amazing food.

I have been a Osmow's Fan since 2016 when I had my first wrap from one of their Mississauga locations.

Just moved to Kitchener and found out this location so I decided to take out. Once again, I am as happy as I always get food from here. I have already convinced 2 of my close friends that they are the best!!

This location gives you the same Osmow's experience that will make you sign up for their loyalty card and come back!

This location has handicapped parking and handicapped accessible entrance. They have washroom available as well.

I went there couple of weeks ago and it seems the Dine-in has not yet started. So pls call-in and check before you decide to go here for Dine-in. Also, make sure you ask for separate bags if you have 2 or more main dishes.

We ordered Osmow's special and Philly Veggie platters. They both were amazing and the person who took our order made them fresh as always.

We always get extra glaric sauce coz they have the most amazing garlic sauce among all the chains. Also, they have a good variety of salads to choose from.

I would highly recommend that if you are getting more than 1 items please ask them to give you in separate bags. I got 2 items and they gave in 1 bag keeping them one on top of another and the sauce on the lower one got stuck to its top due to pressure.

They lost 1 star coz they missed cheese and olives on my salad. Also, this location gives free can of pop if you leave them a Google review.

I have quick question though, did you guys reduce the size the of the box? It seems the boxes now are much smaller than the ones we used...

INCREASED MY REVIEW BY ONE STAR Edit: not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from this past couple months… they’re really not that bad in my experience.

Old review: This is one of my favourite places to get take-out, and that likely won’t change…

But there are some things they really need to work on. I think it starts on a pretty basic service level; making sure they speak loudly and interpret orders correctly, on the phone and in person.

The reason I point this out is because when I made a pickup order I asked for one dish to have “medium” sauce, and the other “on the side.” Unfortunately, they understood “on the side” as “suicide,” which is what they used to call their most intense hot sauce.

I’m on the phone frequently through my day, so I’m confident what I said was loud and clear. And when they didn’t second guess it, I assumed we were all on the same page.

That being said, we ate it, and although it was challenging, I managed to get it down lol.

The reason I bring this up in a review now is that things like this have happened more than once, and it’s a bit irritating. This time it was the wrong level of hot sauce, last time it was forgetting a part of the order, the time before that they were unable to serve fries. Each time, I didn’t bother complaining. I just hope they can do better, because like I said, this is one of my favourite places...

Food is ok regular but staff behaviour is bad

If you are brown and a guy it’s highly likely you will get offended by how these people talk to you compare to white customers

I have been to this place multiple times and have felt it multiple times but never gave a thought as I know people working are usually students and working short staffed even in last month I was here 2 times

Last time I was here the female server that worked here was so impatient with me giving her order and didn’t even answered my question regarding the dish and just pointed toward picture on the wall where after me was the white guy he asked so many question she remembered all the customer service in the world the owner of this place should know the community near Fairview has many brown families and it’s easy for people to replace them with other shawarma shop and these behaviour should force osmows to properly train their staff,

FYI I know it’s difficult to work in a restaurant had done my fair share but all the people behind the counter just avoid customer unless you are white
