There should be option for 0 stars! Public be wary of this location. Seems they are being cheap and don't want to provide hand soap in the washrooms. Absolutely no soap! I left the washroom (without being able to wash my hands) and went to the counter to let them know. They responded that they don't have any soap and it won't be coming in til tomorrow. I said I would like some soap to wash my hands. Again the response was they don't have any. I said you have soap in the back (from the ones at the employee sink), grab a cup and fill it with some soap so that I can wash my hands. They did that, reluctantly though. After I finally was able to wash my hands properly I came out to ask for someone in management but it turns out one of the girls I had spoken to was supposedly the supervisor. She said they don't have soap and that one of the girls is new...not sure what that has to do with anything. I mentioned before and wanted to reiterate again that no soap in a bathroom especially one in a restaurant is a health violation. I said if there is no soap til tomorrow then someone needs to get some pump-soaps at least in the interim. The three individuals seemed to find the situation humorous with snide smiles at one another. While asking for the manager’s information and again stressing the health violations one of them came up with 2 full soap refills??! Suddenly they had some?? Did I blink and tomorrow came?? What happened to no soap til tomorrow. Absolutely shameful! So since 2 were brought out I can only assume the men’s washroom didn’t have any as well. Definitely wouldn’t surprise me. So the only conclusion I can draw is that since most of the Timmy’s are under different management these days is that they are being cheap on purpose. There is a 100% difference in the way they run and the cleanliness of the establishment both in the washrooms and restaurant area. (Btw the bathroom was gross as well! If you’re too lazy or cheap to keep the washrooms decent then at least there has to be soap. There can’t not be soap in public bathrooms/restaurants.) Region of Waterloo Public Health has been notified. This was the last straw. Tim Hortons has lost me as a customer. It is not what...
Read moreThis Tim Hortons is by far the worst one going. Service is horrible. No fluent English speaking workers. Orders are always incorrect. The staff does not know their own menu. Food is stale. It is impossible to reach a manager or supervisor to rectify issues.
It took 4 minutes to place my one item order through the drive-through on my lunch break today (4 minutes to place a 1 item order at a fast food facility?!?) and another 6 at the window when they got my order wrong. My food was then handled by staff with NO GLOVES taking payment at the window and handed back to me with some sauce thrown on top. Unacceptable. It took TWO staff members to understand my English requests, in an English speaking country no less. The two staff members argued with me at the window while others were waiting in line in an attempt to gaslight me about the meal I have ordered many times before, saying this is how it is made. When I asked for a refund, I was told they would remake it. I proceeded to ask for a refund again, much to their displeasure and the window was slammed shut in my face until it was reopened with a terminal directed at me for a refund. 0 customer service skills. I called to ask for the manager and was told by Alda that there was no manager or supervisor at this location.
What a severe disappointment of a location all around. Tim’s has always been a staple in Canada and sadly that is no longer the case because of experiences just like this one. Thank you for wasting half of my lunch break at what SHOULD be a fast food location. Save your time and go to another location that can actually correctly take an order, provide customer service, and food that...
Read moreChanging my original review. The staff do NOT clean bathrooms 90% of the time. Customers usually have to ask staff to put toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms which are usually disgusting. Tables are almost always dirty with crumbs from previous customers. They place more importance on drive thru over customers who walk into store to order. Completely understaffed. It's the middle of August now and some how they still close the instore early instead of the posted hours, which they changed in the winter due to the fact that their employees didn't want to work until 11 in the snow. Drinks aren't stirred properly ever. This location has declined drastically over the last year alone. The franchise owner doesn't do anything to get the employees to do their jobs, so no point complaining to him. During the school year you can't even get in to the store let alone order unless you drive because they get swamped by high schoolers who half the time these kids don't buy anything and take up seating for paying customers. They also vape inside the store and write and carve stuff into the tables and get away with it all cause the employees other then 1 individual on the morning shift won't do anything about it. I've witnessed many fights between the highschoolers and staff here won't even call the cops or ban the kids starting stuff. One of the worse off locations in the entire city...
