Have been wanting to try this pub for some time, finally got there today. Sat outside, they have long tables for sharing if you don't have a big group. The handmade benches are narrow and look uncomfortable but they are stable and surprisingly comfortable. The Pulled Pork sandwich was full of tender pork, nice, mild sauce, generous portion. The soup was a full bodied, tomato based soup. tasty and filling. For my main I opted for the veg option, Yam & Chickpea Tacos, quite tasty with avocado and pickled onions but I'm not a fan of the clump of sprouts on top, too hard to eat and kept the sauce from the taco. I may have seen a chickpea, not sure, but the yams were good and the rest of the filling made the whole package tasty. The chips and salsa were just what I would serve at home, store bought, nothing special. Would love to see them offer the artisan, handmade taco chips made by Taco Revolution with some homemade salsa, so easy to make. They did make an error on our bill, 2 tacos plus chips & salsa should have been $15 not $18, didn't notice until we were on our way home, not worth going back for. The view is very nice, you can see the water, around the new condo going up, there was a lovely breeze, lots of locals meeting up and visiting. We will probably eat here again. Can't forget the BEER, husband ordered the Red Yeti Red Ale from Dog Mountain Brewing, excellent, no bitter aftertaste.

Bayview Brewing company definitely sells some of the better beer in the Ladysmith area. We got the flight that included the Cherry Poppins, Hazy IPA, Dill pickle and the classic Ladysmith blonde. The dill pickle was a unique flavour for beer, but also the most familiar for anyone who has tried drinking pickle juice from the jar before, lol It's a small restaurant with tight spacing if you're eating indoors. I suggest eating outside on the patio, where you can also make reservations for large groups. The staff there were very polite and eager to serve all the customers there. The BLT sandwich I bought tasted great but was expensive; just as everything else is on the island. Regardless, it's a good stop if you're looking for a meal and great beer. Bayview Brewing company has it all!

I really don’t like to give a bad review but my experience was not the current overall 4.9. I actually didn’t tip since a lower percentage was not an option. Service is nonexistent as you need to go up and order/pay. I got the big kids grilled cheese, I asked if we mistakenly ordered the kids size and the kitchen person said it was the same size. So I got 2 strips of bacon for the extra $5. I also had to go ask for cutlery and again for napkins. The kitchen staff picked up my can without asking if I was done. The picture shows half the sandwich with my pop for size comparison which was $18. This should have been an appetizer at best.

Bayview came highly recommended by beer geek friends. Our experience was oddly "meh" as the kids say. We started with a couple of beers. The wheat was okay as was the pale ale. We had food all around for two adults and 4 kids. Mine was the donair which was a pretty small display sauce lacked any Halifax-sweetness flavour and was not filling for $19 with the soup. My son got a shawarma that contained a mountain of sprouts but little chicken. It appeared that the kids grilled cheese was yummy and a winner. I suspect I'll need to come back as this appeared to be an anomaly compared to the other reviews here.

Bayview Brewing Company is a must-visit! Their chicken shawarma is absolutely delicious - juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And don't even get me started on their incredible beer selection! With names like 'Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner Hazy Pale Ale', you know you're in for a treat. The brews are always top-notch, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a tasty bite, Bayview Brewing Company has got you covered. 5 stars and can't wait to go back!

Lovely little brewery with a unique food menu perfect for the whole family. They've got a strong selection of sours, an easily drinkable ale, a flavorful farmhouse style porter, and a refreshing Saison co-brewed with Longwood Brewery that's sure to quench your thirst. Today's rain wasn't a problem as their covered heated patio kept us warm and dry whilst enjoying lunch. 10/10 would recommend stopping in for a drink and bite to eat after grabbing some of the best Cinnamon Buns on the island from Old Town Bakery.
