We arrived at the restaurant at about 9:00 pm on Mothers day. The restaurant was not busy (about 6 tables occupied). We were seated by the bar server, Jennifer. After about 10 minutes, when Jennifer was seating another family, I asked her if she had seated us in "No Man's Land". She asked if no one had come to serve us - they had not. After a short while Jennifer came back and said she would serve us and drinks were ordered. Shortly another server came by with the lame excuse " she forgot about us" although she was seen glancing in our direction several times. Drinks arrived and food was ordered. When the meals arrived my chicken wings were fine but when my son started to eat his steak (one of their marquee items) it was clearly overdone. He started to eat it but when he got to the fries with caramelized onions they were a glutinous mass of cold fries and gravy. Jennifer arrived to ask about the food and we both indicated displeasure with the meal and although Jennifer offered something else, my son saw so put off by what was served he declined with a comment about more of the same. Jennifer returned with a comment about reducing the bill and did we want anything else we declined, paid the bill and left. The establishment and probably the chain has lost my family's custom and I will not be shy about voicing my displeasure to everyone...
Read moreMy mother and my girlfriend and I went to Kelsey's after we went to the movies. We didn't order any drinks just water. We had chicken tenders, a steak and cheese quesadilla and a Nashville chicken sandwich. We had no complaints on our fries or on the steak and cheese. The only complaint we had on the tenders is that they come in a basket with paper and we are kind of tired of getting food like this. However, they brought us a plate and that was the end of that. On the topic of the Nashville sandwich: The sandwich is true to the dish with ingredients you come to expect. I thought the coleslaw was good. I thought the dust on the chicken was good. What I didn't like about the sandwich is that it comes with two pieces of chicken on it, which I'm sure looks impressive being the towering sandwich that it is. However, I found it incredibly impractical to eat. I don't like messy food if I bite into a sandwich and it's all over the table, I see that as a failure in composition. I think that chicken sandwich would be better with just one slightly larger piece of chicken as opposed to two smaller fried chicken cutlets. The atmosphere is modern, It's clean, It's a great place for the younger drinking crowd. I thought everything was a little pricey but I just chalk that up as a sign of the times, menu prices are going up everywhere. I...

My mom ordered a piña colada, and I had a pint of Corona on tap. For lunch, she went with the three-for-one lunch special: Caesar salad, broccoli cheddar soup, and a slice of garlic toast. I had the fried chicken sandwich with a beet and goat cheese salad.
Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the bun was soft with just the right amount of sauce. The salad was crisp, well-dressed, and super flavourful. My mom loved her Caesar salad, and she couldn’t stop raving about the soup.
Our server was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable, and told us about the daily specials. She didn’t rush us, which made for a really relaxed lunch.
The atmosphere is casual and clean. It was fairly quiet for lunch, with a few TVs around showing sports. Nothing fancy, but still a comfortable spot to sit and chat.
Overall, great food, great service — would definitely recommend for a...
