Panago Pizza — Restaurant in Langford

An update. I contacted Panago at the executive level. I reviewed my experience and I was given a credit for the original purchase amount. When I went to the nearest Panago to use this credit, the outlet refused to honour it. What else do I need to know about this one star business? Review from 2023. Went back to Panago in Langford after a year. Placed a walk-in order for a large Panago Classic, multi-grain crust, picked it up and drove it home. I reheated it for family pizza night, and the first three of us that tried a slice just stopped. The pizza was inedible. The crust was tasteless, but the sauce and red onion were not. The sauce was thin and over-seasoned with thyme or some other herb, and the red onions were overwhelmingly sharp...not prepared properly...and the total result was inedible. One bite for each of the three of us and into the bin it all went. So disappointing. As a 30 year customer of Panagopolis and now Panago, I am shocked.

Review from 2022. I like the pizza from Panago...but I had an eye-opening experience lately, had a large order from a different Panago outlet. OMG. They actually put generous amounts of each topping on the pies! The Langford outlet, clean, efficient and prompt...but the toppings are sparse. How sparse? I joked that the toppings were placed on the pies with kitchen tweezers, artfully placed minimum amounts of each topping. Apparently not a complete joke. I took photos of the Esquimalt pies and compared them to my last Langford pie. Which will be my last Langford pie. Response to owner. I am a walk-in customer. I don't...

Bad customer service: I ordered a vegan Mediterranean pizza by phone, making sure that it is dairy-free. But is was made as a usual pizza, which I realized only at home. I came back to ask to make the right order. However their policy is that I had to use my phone and place a new order. I didn’t bring my phone with me and had to drive back home and to the store again. Yes, it was very frustrating. Overall the order was made right, I was not charged for it. I was also offered a credit of 12$ for future orders.

Too much hustle that it caused with not being able to re-make the order right away, resulted in the loss of a regular customer.

Mistakes happen, however it is all about how you promptly make things right for...

Editing my previous 5 star review. Pizza is always delicious.. but has recently added a $5.20 delivery free to drive my pizza 4 minutes. Recently discovered Romeos has great pizza as well and no longer want to pay the extra fees. Bye panago, it's been a slice Editing my previous review after being contacted by the manager.
