I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jukebox Centropolis and was fortunate to be served by Mike. Here’s an in-depth review of my experience:
Service Quality: From the moment we were seated, Mike’s service stood out. He greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor, immediately making us feel welcome. Throughout our meal, Mike maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness and discretion. He ensured that our needs were met without hovering, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere.
Knowledge and Recommendations: Mike’s knowledge of the menu was impressive. He took the time to explain the daily specials in detail and provided insightful recommendations based on our tastes and dietary preferences. His suggestion of the truffle mac and cheese as an appetizer was a hit, and the recommended main course of the steak frites was cooked to perfection. His wine pairing advice also enhanced our meal, demonstrating his expertise.
Efficiency: Despite the bustling environment of Jukebox Centropolis, Mike managed to serve us efficiently. He promptly took our orders and ensured that our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. Even during peak hours, he remained calm and organized, which reflected his experience and competence as a waiter.
Attention to Detail: Mike’s attention to detail was remarkable. He remembered our names and used them throughout the service, adding a personal touch. He also noticed when one of our party had a dietary restriction and made thoughtful menu suggestions to accommodate them. Additionally, he ensured our table was clean and our glasses were always full.
Personality: Mike’s engaging personality truly enhanced our dining experience. He was friendly, approachable, and had a great sense of humor. His ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming environment made our meal more enjoyable. He also shared interesting stories about the restaurant and its history, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.
Problem-Solving Skills: During our meal, there was a minor issue with one of the dishes being slightly overcooked. Mike handled the situation professionally and promptly. He apologized sincerely and had the dish remade without any fuss. His proactive approach and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction were commendable.
Overall Experience: Mike’s exceptional service played a significant role in making our visit to Jukebox Centropolis memorable. His professionalism, extensive menu knowledge, efficiency, and personable nature set him apart as a standout waiter. We left the restaurant highly satisfied and will definitely return, hoping to be served by Mike again.

Read moreIt was… meh. The first time we dined at Jukebox Burger was at the original location in the West Island. It was delicious and fun and we couldn’t wait to go back. We were so excited to hear Jukebox opened in Laval just a few minutes from where we live, and decided to choose this restaurant to treat our kids (we don’t eat out often). We’re disappointed to have to say it didn’t live up to our expectations or memory of our past experience. The hostess wasn’t that welcoming, she was a little cold. It seemed obvious she didn’t like being there. Our server was very good though. He was efficient and polite. Everyone who helped in service was super nice and helpful (like a team). There was no issues at all with them. The food looked aesthetically good and the portions were generous. The quality of the burgers was good too, but they were undercooked and bland and lacked either flavour or love or something. It was forgettable. The fries and milkshake were also bland. We had the fried cheese curds as an appetizer, they were good. And one of us had the poutine with bacon. It seemed they ran out of cheese for the poutine because there was barely any on it. The ambience/decor was fun but overall it felt like something was missing. It passes. But it doesn’t leave me craving to go back. It’s too bad though because the OG Jukebox Burgers...
Read moreLike many have gone through, there are pros and cons. My family stopped in on a friday looking for tasty burgers, sides and deserts.
Pros: service is pretty good, checking on us often for anything we need. the atmosphere is nice, a diner kind of look with many attention to details for lighting and other decor.
Cons: prices and portions are not great. I'm a big eater, and i can say that the hamburgers are probably too big for the average person. And at a premium price (21 to 25 for the average burger). Might be better to reduce the size and the price, but thats my opinion. most food is okay, but allot lacks basics in flavor. Dry burger meat, coleslaw no flavor (lacking either time to set or spices), bland spy mayo, and in general there was nothing better than average, or stood out. my wife ended up getting a huge pointy bone shard in her wrap. We didnt make a fuss about it, but these things shouldnt happen. bringing kids here and given the prices, you'd expect free refils on fountain drinks, but no its pay for each. Actually anything here on the menu is riddled with "extra choices" for extra costs.
Whike we had an ok experience, given the price and the flavor of the food theres nothing really drawing us to come back. The food i of good quality though overall, but anyone with a decent pallette would give...
