I was so disappointed with my experience here on NYE. I came here with my fiancé we both are visible minorities. I was present when the orders were taken and garlic bread was not a request from either parties. The chef had made the poor choice of making complimentary appetizers for the party of three white persons to my left and the white couple on the right. He served them and skipped us when everything else was in order. My fiancé had called him out and said he was upset so the chef had gone to the back and gotten one more portion. THE CHEF NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS BEING AN ADD ON. It made the entire atmosphere unpleasant and was not necessary. Both parties had confirmed they did not order the garlic bread as an add on however when I spoke to the manager she insisted it was an add on; felt like a scapegoat. We paid cash tipped and left. They should treat all customers the same. We came well groomed well dressed and well mannered. Was this racism?...
Read moreThis place hands down has the very best tasting Japanese Hibachi I’ve ever tasted. No doubt the 10/10 for food and experience. We waited 20 mins upon entering to first get soup (worth the not long wait) evenly distributed good to everyone at the table (no one had more or less) Extremely flavourful taste wise. I had the steak hibachi / came with rice, and a delicious oriental salad 🥗 🍚🍄🧅🦐mushroom, zucchini, onions, shrimp green tea, the man who cooked our food was SO funny and had all us laughing and smiling the entire time while he was introducing us to Japanese culinary traditions. They have the BEST vanilla strawberry cream Sherbet ever for dessert do NOT miss this gem of a Japanese Steakhouse & they know English & French both very well. We will be back again thanks!! 🍨🍓
(One thing to add - I recommend having vermicelli noodles available for the non rice lovers please 😁 it would...
Read moreLet's break down my experience and explain my rating of 3. Ambiance was good and our cook was very nice and fun. Service was friendly and normal. Restaurant was clean and we were the only client of the night. Food quality was average like in all you can eat buffet. Filet mignon was very tender but kind of blend. The chicken had a slight smell and it felt like chewy or plastic depending the bite. Quality seems kind of low. Shrimps were good. Vegetable were ok. Onion soup was good. Fried rice was not bad but you have to pay extra for that. Ice cream was ok.
Overall, we had a good time with my family and enjoy the experience but I cannot give more than 3 because of the food quality. I don't think I will go back to be honest. I cannot lie, I am a meat eater and I like good quality meat so this place is not for me.
Quality/price is not worth it in my opinion but feel free to try...
